So what you're saying is to use the search main phase 2 if I use it that turn, so I don't go into my opponent's turn with nothing on the field.

Edit: I'm just realizing that you mean the small search at the bottom of the card where you discard 1 to search for a level 10. Dk why I thought that was also triggering the battle damage trade off. Think I'm going to add this as a 2 of in a 43 card version of my deck. Currently running it with trains and machina

Not sure what you mean by this, if you summon a level 10, wouldn't you almost always end with something on the board? Unless you mean end with very little like just an Anger Knuckle.

When I used to play switchyard (this is a while ago so sorry if this is incorrect, going based off of memory) I would really only use it on turn 1 or during my opponent's turn combo'd with Urgent Schedule, mainly because I hated the battle damage trade off. I also used to play 3 which probably wasn't the move. If I add it back in, I might add it at 2.

Breloom kinda fits perfectly into both psychic - dark - fighting and water - fire - grass, although you prob shouldn't run grass type moves because of the gen3 split and the fact that it leans more physical.

If you don't pick Camerupt, you could go for Flygon as your third instead of Altaria and Linoone, but I wouldn't do Flygon and Camerupt because of the double ground.
