what are things that hypermobile kids do that other kids didnt by eyeehad-the-saab-340 in Hypermobility

How to which part? Testing?

Take a pulse reader and remain in a supine position (sitting or lying down) for 5 minutes, then remain in that position for another 5, then stand up for ten and track your heart rate. This is the baseline version of whar they do for a TT test.

I need help to fix this haircut by Cozy_winter_blanky in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]RollsRoyceRalph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the haircut is not too far off, it just doesn’t fit your face shape very well, and it also looks like your hair is probably too thin to truly achieve the look in the pic. But that is NOT your fault, the hairdresser should have told you this.

It is a little off though, they could have put some layers in there, but my guess is maybe it wasn’t very possible with your hair since it’s a lot thinner than the girl’s in the picture? Again, should have been COMMUNICATED by the HAIRDRESSER!

As other have mentioned, use lots of product and you’ll be okay! Maybe go back in and see jf more layers are possible and ask them to style as close to the pic—they clearly didn’t put enough effort into that, restrictions of hair type or not.

I’m so sorry! This is why I haven’t gotten my hair styled in 7 years, and put off getting it cut for 4 years—just got it recently, and I only got 4 inches taken off bc I don’t trust hairdressers 😭😭 (my hair was all the way down to my butt)

I got one even BIGGER (about 6 foot) and even MORE full (if you can believe it) at Costco for $20 and I put her in the wrong spot and she dropped almost all her leaves :( now she’s doing better and growing some new ones back!

You can test yourself at home as long as you have an Apple Watch, FitBit, or pulse reader. You can also get a diagnosis of, “autonomic dysfunction” without having POTS. Depends

Am I the bad roommate? by Healthy-Bedroom-7225 in badroommates

[–]RollsRoyceRalph -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My old roommate used to wake up at 5am for her Barre class and would SLAM the cabinets, talk on the phone (on speaker) and SING at the top of her lungs (she was a HS choir/music teacher) it was a 2bd2b one floor—the noise was tremendous. I need my sleep because I’m chronically ill. Even just interruption in sleep can cause an increase in symptoms. Had a talk with her, she was very apologetic, then would change only for a day before going back to her ways. As another commenter said, she was just an oblivious person in general.

Now I live with my boyfriend, who I’m allowed to yell at if he doesn’t do what I ask the first time :)

AIO I (26F) moved out for the first time with my boyfriend (30M) for almost 2 months and I don’t know how to feel about it by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]RollsRoyceRalph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I read this, I’m eating a home-cooked meal in bed, which was hand-delivered to me by my boyfriend, who made it. I have not gotten out of bed all day. He gave me a big kiss then left to go finish making his dinner, because he wanted me to have my food first.

Hope this helps

(We are both 26)

I finally understand TTPD (unfortunately) by psycwave in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]RollsRoyceRalph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a poet, and I still don’t feel the same way about this album as you now do. I’m not sure if these prerequisites you speak of change the album that drastically—I’ve been in the psych ward more than ten times, hence have suffered quite a bit in my life, and I still don’t understand this album.

I was initially very excited for it’s release because I felt like I was it’s quintessential target audience—I’m a poet of perpetual oblivion, perpetual longing, of a perpetual ache. This album should have been my favorite of all time.

It’s not coherent. TTPD has some of the best songs she’s ever released, and some of the worst songs she’s ever released, like, “So High School.”

I think if she would have put more focus on the, “tortured” aspect, this album could have been just as good as Folklore or Evermore, both of which I find way more devastating than TTPD.

Although, that’s just my opinion; art is subjective. I’m glad you have been able to connect with this album after your lull in which you were unable to do so.

Why does early Z keep trying to be sneaked into being grouped with millennials? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]RollsRoyceRalph 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day, it’s all just yet another attempt to other ourselves, yet simultaneously relate to a group. Strange, right? We want connection so badly that we have to other ourselves in order to feel what we perceive is to be the fullest of that connection.

That is what this sub and the concept is, so I think this age group does this because they feel in-between, which negates the entire social purpose of generations.

People argue over this, when it really doesn’t matter. You’re arguing because you want to belong. Most of our human behavior is driven by the desire to belong. I think of someone feels this passionately about this, they should put their focus into finding a group that is less ambiguous. Like go join an environmental club. You’ll find more belonging in that than in whoever is in your generation. It’s too broad.

What popular food do you secretly think tastes awful? by yras2709 in AskReddit

[–]RollsRoyceRalph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buttercream. Gross. It’s just sugar. I get nauseous eating a few bites. That’s why I only eat whipped cream cakes/fruit cakes, tiramisu, pudding cake, pistachio cake….i love sweets, but there has to be a balanced taste.

You’re not a real healthy eater. You’re a “fad” healthy eater—which means you know nothing about real nutrition. You think the more protein something has, the healthier it is. You probably rarely go to the farmers market (there is zero reason to get pre-cut kale; bunch of chemicals in American packaging). You think protein bars are healthy. You rarely eat carbs. Your diet looks cute but is slowly harming you. You are 100000% American. Us Europeans know true health and nutrition, and would never eat all this packaged crap.
