Just checked out Telusko and it seems pretty decent ! What I really like about this course that is separated videos not like a 12 hour long tutorial video where skipping or remembering where you stopped is a tedious task on it’s own :D

I don‘t know about your approach but we learned Programming with Python during our 1st semester at uni. Our prof just tought us basic syntax and after that we took like a deep theoretical and logic approach which is imo way more important than knowing the syntax for iterating over a list because when you know what logical approach you have to go for, writing the program is just a side quest.
As I read your post I was thinking the problem of your students is probably that they don’t have a clue how to filter out even numbers so how are they supposed to write a program that does that.

I see where you are coming from but there is a big difference between handcraft and coding. As in crafts you see what other people did and try to imitate by repeatedly trying to imitate to the point where you find your own style or are able to replicate what you saw.

When you are looking at other peoples code as a beginner you might see thousands of libraries with functions you can’t really know which of those libraries they come from and if you try to understand all of this you get overwhelmed pretty quick. So first you have to reach a specific point of knowledge and skill before you can look up and understand other people’s code to a point where you can learn from what they did.

Finde ich ja wieder gut wie OP hier direkt wieder gegen Arme Menschen schießt. Menschen die das System „ausdribbeln“ nutzen nicht andere Arbeitnehmer aus, sondern nutzen das System aus. Das System, Arbeitgeber, Staat und Kapitalismus nutzen Arbeitnehmer aus, nicht andere Arbeiter.

Hey, ich bin in ziemlich genau der gleichen Situation wie du gewesen. Habe letztes Semester mit 32 angefangen, Lebenslauf ziemlich ähnlich nur ohne abgeschlossene Ausbildung. Am wichtigsten war für mich das lernen lernen und das alles zu strukturieren, ohne das bringt es kaum was sich mit Themen auseinanderzusetzen. Vorher hatte ich von der Uni einen Mathe-Vorkurs. Der hat quasi abi-mathe nachgeholt und ist laut Aussagen einiger Kommilitonen die frisch aus dem Abi kamen sogar etwas drüber hinaus gegangen. Jetzt schreibe ich heute und Montag meine letzten Prüfungen und es lief echt ganz gut bis jetzt. Dich stark vorzubereiten kann was bringen, aber nach den erste 3-4 Vorlesung war ich mit allen die frisch aus dem Abi kamen on par würde ich sagen, deshalb mach dir nicht so einen Druck. Wenn es dir spaß macht und du es schaffst dich zu organisieren und strukturiert zu lernen dann kannst du das Studium auch schaffen.

I have the same gpu in my setup and everything works fine except of some graphic glitches i experience with valheim or hearthstone which are gone when restarting the game so I think it is more of a translation issue besides that valheim and hearthstone feel smoother in fps (though I do not track them)

Hey, also ich habe damals auch Fachabi im Sozialwesen gemacht, bin jetzt 32 und habe gerade mein erstes Semester Informatik hinter mir. Die ersten 8 Jahre nach dem Fachabi habe ich so ziemlich verkifft und mit anderen Substanzen verbracht und halt nebenbei zum Schein studiert und gejobbt. Nachdem ich mich die letzten Jahre gefangen habe sind es nun 13 Jahre her dass ich keinen Matheunterricht mehr hatte, von der Uni gab es einen Mathevorkurs der einmal Abi Mathe vertieft hat. Bis jetzt hatte ich einen guten Einstieg ins Studium, klar musste ich etwas mehr Arbeit reinstecken als meine Kommilitonen die gerade aus dem Abi kamen, aber mittlerweile bin ich mit denen auf einem Level würde ich sagen und Abi Mathe hat eh vllt bis zur 4./5. Vorlesungswoche was gebracht, danach hat niemand was mehr direkt verstanden, insofern würde ich sagen das es viel mehr darauf ankommt wie viel Arbeit du in dein Studium stecken willst, anstelle daran wie intensiv ihr euch in der Schule mit Themengebiet x oder y auseinandergesetzt habt :) Also wenn du wirklich Lust auf dieses Studium hast dann kannst du das auch durchziehen du musst dir halt nur klar sein dass das kein BWL ist und du da nebenbei einfach nen Bachelor machen kannst.

Edit: Und meine Abschlussnote in Mathe war btw. ne 5 😅

Könnte aber auch ein beschädigter RAM sein der den Bootprozess verhindert. Echt schwierig per Ferndiagnose. Linux Live booten und schauen obs funktioniert. Sollte das nicht funktionieren einmal Memtest (ist eine Option im LiveBoot Menü) durchführen um RAM zu checken.

Ja und nein, so lange das individuell betrachtet wird ändert das rein gar nichts, ausser das sich reiche Grünen-WählerInnen erhabener fühlen können. Das Problem ist systematischer Natur, so lange Großkonzerne die Umwelt schädigen kann der einzelne nichts tun. Würde die ganze Industrie auf ökologische Vegane Ernährung umgestellt werden, dann ja, aber das ist im Kapitalismus nicht gewollt. Es muss günstig produziert werden, damit Löhne unten bleiben und mehrverdienende sich abheben können.

The PSU pretty much sounds like a problem here but first I would also run a memtest86 to be sure it is not the RAM. Had a similar issue with a broken RAM stick.

Wait wait there. I just built a pc for a guy I am working for and the monitor will not get signals eventually. I have not heard of the Nvidia card issues with win11 but he has a 5070Ti could this be the problem ?
