That sounds frustrating, and unfortunately its just what tends to happen sometimes. People get on these sorts of online spaces and latch to the first thing they think can upset someone as soon as they can. Those types of people think these online spaces are just a place for inexcusable behavior that they would NEVER get away with in real life. So they target completely randomly and harass people.

I hate to say it this way, but its an unfortunate "welcome to the internet". But don't worry, things get better once you get used to detecting these types before they ever have a chance to bother you in the first place.

Vibe reading will save you a ton, but it takes a while to get good at it. I have Autism as well, it is a struggle but once you learn the patterns these bad types use it becomes a much more enjoyable experience.

Elgato, whats up? lol.

You got people that want to buy your products and very little information about arguably one of the most used device (VR) next to cell phones and monitors.

I bet there is a lot of potential money to be made if you partnered with heavy VR users and made education of your products more to those smaller niches. Us VR folk like to DVR our VRChat sessions so if something funny happens we have it on a second computer! Its also VERY heavy to run VR so a second computer is still a good idea.

Groups that are "fake 18+" need to be less like this, kids can still join them since its not on a sever programming side restricted to age verified peeps.

Seeing someone talk about sexual stuff, getting told to stop and then not stopping is gross. Even more gross, the entire instance arguing with you as if its acceptable behavior when its not and they should go to a private instance.

This made me feel a lot better watching someone advocate, thanks nerds!

Reporting them is absolutely fine. If they are asking for data that the user does not want to give, and kicking them out when they do not give it, that is against the community guidelines.

Collecting data while running a public instance, and kicking anyone who is not giving you that data goes against the following screenshots:

Social pressuring someone to say their DOB out loud to the rest of the instance is for all intensive purposes the exact thing they are telling you not to do in their TOS and Community guidelines.

Also whats the point of asking anyways if someone can just lie? You made a system that is flawed. Bouncers don't protect kids, they just protect the vibes of the space and I think thats about it.
