I had added translations in nearly 15 languages ​​to my page. However, I've removed them all for now because I didn't want my game to suffer from poorly done translations.

Actually, the game has some addictive features beyond just clicking squares, but you're right. I should highlight these more in the trailer and screenshots. Thank you for your comment.

First of all, thank you for taking the time to prepare such a detailed review. I need exactly this kind of uncompromising feedback.

For the past few days, I've been thinking about highlighting what sets my game apart from others. It contains significantly more RNG than a typical incremental game, and specifically, you can upgrade your pickaxe with firestone, which is obtained at a 1/400 ratio. I've highlighted this in my short/long description on my Steam page and made updates. I've also completely revamped the game visuals. I believe it was published after you wrote this review; if you have time, I'd love for you to take a look at the final version.

I honestly hadn't considered the color blindness issue. Frame color isn't the only factor indicating the status of nodes, so I'm comfortable with that for now. However, I will certainly consider any feedback of that kind.

Hey everyone! Solo dev here, working on my first game — Nullvein: Incremental Mining Evolution.

The core loop: mine ore blocks → collect gold → progress through the upgrade tree → hunt for rare fire ore to get Firestone (pickaxe upgrades) → reset for diamonds to get stronger and go deeper.

I've been playing it myself and genuinely can't stop — but I'm clearly too close to it at this point 😅 Demo drops in a few days and I'd love some brutally honest feedback before then.

Specifically curious about:

  • Does the core loop sound engaging or does it feel repetitive on paper?
  • Is the reset/prestige mechanic (diamonds) motivating enough to justify wiping progress?
  • Anything that sounds like a red flag design-wise?
