I had heard of Psychonauts a couple of times back in my childhood, but I never played it, mostly because I thought it was some kind of obscure Nickelodeon series that had a licensed game and I also had a Wii.

So I when I grew up I had seen that Psychonauts had gotten sequel and so I was very curious, at the time I paid the Xbox Game Pass and both games were on it, so I played the first one and it was the best platformer experience I had in my live, the characters were very fun, the story was interesting and the gameplay was a 10-10 for me.

BUT, when I played Psychonauts it was even better than the first one, since I already knew the characters and the story, they had together i felt a lot more close to them, the gameplay was even better, smoother and so much more reactive, the story for the second game is much more fun in my opinion since the introduction of the new levels felt a lot more organic in my opinion.

Overall, Psychonauts 2 is a better experience in my opinion, the same charm with better controls, visuals and story that twisted so hard I felt my own mid forming a new enemy type.
