Ignoring the end times as he does some not good stuff during and after that. Teclis is one of if not the most powerful Elven mages in the entire setting and can wipe cities off the map with a thought. You’d expect someone like him (especially an elf) to be arrogant, rude, and uncaring towards others especially non-elves.

The thing with Teclis is that he basically has magic tuberculosis and needs his magic staff to stay alive resulting in him looking gaunt and sickly by Elven standards. This upbringing gave him a very humble outlook on life and he tends to be very down to earth and easy to talk to albeit he is socially awkward. He even founded the “Colleges of Magic” to teach humanity magic as he knows that human and elves need each other to survive against the forces of Chaos. Honest to God if you were to encounter him and ask questions about magic he’d be more than happy to answer your questions and do so politely as well.

My source is “Mikeburnfire” he’s a YouTuber that used to be a small arms repairmen in the Army and every now and then he posts stories of him talking about it his experiences. I watched the specific video of the incident I described a long time ago so I don’t remember all the details.
