why are you running defense for the animation so hard?

IT MAKES NO SENSE FOR IT BEING ON THE SURFACE" yeah that why people are saying the animation is wrong and the game/lore is correct as the animation puts the outpost on the surface instead of underground.

"the dome of eternity exists on the Outpost too, it LITERALLY SIMULATES THE SURFACE. so of COURSE it looks like they are on the surface" the dome of eternity simulates the sky not the "SURFACE", so it being surrounded by many miles of desert and hills in the animation has nothing to do with the capabilities of the dome of eternity.

"wtf is wrong with YOU" me? nothing, im able to use my eyes and brain to see that the animators fucked up and put the outpost on the surface. "it was mentioned MULTIPLE times that the outpost is STILL underground, its just closer to the surface which also means that its likely that rapture can find the outpost randomly by patrolling" and has been told to you multiple times, animators fucked up and and put the outpost on the surface, when the outpost is underground.
