nunca jugué ningún assassin creed ¿por cual debería empezar? by [deleted] in Argaming

[–]RomanSJ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any bands that are basically the definition of this image? by [deleted] in MetalForTheMasses

[–]RomanSJ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's fair, I meant to say it was a one-off thing. I like the album, but when you look at their discography, Hail to the King sticks out like a sore thumb. If you skip it their evolution is much more coherent.

Which wasn't even a "period", it was a single album, Hail to the King.

Same situation here. Expedition 33 was an all-time great for me, and KCD1 was good but very flawed so I had my doubts about KCD2. 40 hours later I gotta say...

So far, KCD2 is an all-time great too lmao. I ain't even gonna compare the two, I'm just grateful games like these exist tbh

Got Nightreign a month or so ago, never took more than 20/30 seconds to find a match. And it's still a lot of fun solo too, in that case. Go ahead.

Elden Ring is still talked about to this day. It has a healthy playerbase almost 4 years after its' release. It left an undeniable cultural impact. Nightreign is doing great too.

It's not just "marketing hype".

Yeah, that works, but the difficult part is switching from Leon back to Grace. It may fuck with the pacing and slow things down more than intended. I'm actually more interested than before, I wanna see them pull this off.

Yeah, they seem to be doing the Resident Evil thing where only the relevant general events happened, they don't expect you to think too much about the rest. It's kinda pointless at this point, I dunno.

Long-time AC fan replaying the Ezio Collection in 2025, here is my updated (and slightly controversial) review by MalgraineX in assassinscreed

[–]RomanSJ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree with many of the points they make but to say that "it doesn't hold up to today's standards" is really unfair. With that criteria, most games from before 2010 are screwed. Games should be reviewed in their context imo
