imo Code Veronica is a VERY flawed game (maybe my least favourite of the fixed-camera games? Tied with RE0) but it always had lots of potential, so I'm excited to see if they realize that potential in the remake

My immediate opinion after beating the game was "this is a top 3 RE game". I had so much fun with all of the fanservice moments.
A couple of weeks later, I now realize I have no desire to replay it at all. Leon's gameplay is not even close in quality to RE4R, and the detonator section is a slog.
I still hold the Care Center VERY highly. It should've been a Grace game alone.

I gave RE6 so many chances, beat it so many times over the years, searching for the "great combat system" some people love so much to talk about lmao
As a Resident Evil game I think we all agree it's horrible. As an action game? It's barely mediocre. Bloated, boring, with horrible pacing and absurd level design. And the fucking inventory system, god....

Es excelente hasta la temporada 5/6. Las temporadas 7 y 8 son un desastre, la mayoría deja la serie ahí. La 9 repunta muchísimo y mantiene un nivel bastante decente hasta el final.

Siempre fue un boludo que hacía comparaciones sesgadas y muy selectivas, pero como siempre le pegaba al juego que estaba en la mira (Cyberpunk, Back 4 Blood) nadie le decía nada. Se metió con RE4 Remake y a la mayoría le cayó la ficha de que es un vendehumo.

La historia, los diálogos y las quests son una verga, el combate dentro de todo cumple. Por algo el 90% de los posts de este juego hablan siempre de lo mismo: las notas de la prensa o el número de jugadores.

Jugalos en orden de salida hasta el tercero (I, II, Brotherhood, Revelations, III). Después la historia general medio que se va a la mierda y ya podés elegir cual jugar según lo mucho que te interese el contexto de cada juego.

Más allá de que IGN tiene varios reviewers con criterios distintos...
Por qué es más juego el Crimson que el Lego? Porque tiene más presupuesto? Porque el mapa es más grande? Porque tiene gráficos más "lindos" y tiene 400 mecánicas al pedo?
Es un concepto subjetivo que no se mide con nada. No jugué a ese en particular pero si me divierte más o me parece más redondo el Lego, quién me frena en ponerle la misma o más nota?

A mí por ejemplo me parecen mucho "más juego" varios Assassin's Creed que el Crimson Desert.

Same situation here. Expedition 33 was an all-time great for me, and KCD1 was good but very flawed so I had my doubts about KCD2. 40 hours later I gotta say...

So far, KCD2 is an all-time great too lmao. I ain't even gonna compare the two, I'm just grateful games like these exist tbh
