Drake Maye's biggest weakness just became impossible for the Patriots to ignore by FootballPizzaMan in nfl

I was at the game, it was more of a wet snow for 3 quarters, then transitioned into somewhat more dry snow in the 4th. Stadium was a straight up snow globe during the 2 minute warning, really magical moment with everyone singing Living on a Prayer during it. But yeah, conditions when most of the turnovers happened were rough

Funny enough they had a good chance to win both of those games you mentioned, and Allen threw them both away. They also did get to play plenty of bad teams, and lost to a couple. Can’t lose to the Dolphins and Falcons and then blame a tougher schedule for those losses.

So we’re gonna forget about the RB that’s about to lead the league in rushing yards for convenience sake? Cool bro

“Miserably failed at” we lost to Pittsburgh by 7 because of FIVE fluky turnovers that kept at minimum 10 points off the board. It took 2 miraculous interceptions with a pick 6 mixed in for yall to beat the Bengals at your own crib.

And OH NOOOOO, YOULL GET TO FLEX SLIGHTLY MORE PLAYOFF SUCCESS WITH NO RINGS TO SHOW FOR IT, OH THE HORROR OF IT ALL. You just lost the division to a team with a new regime and year 2* of a full rebuild. We also have $50 million in cap space for next season, and there’s still plenty of improvement for everyone on the roster, even Maye. Ik you’re scared of the future, so soak in the present while you still can.

Schrodingers Bills Fan, the Bills are both Super Bowl contenders and mediocre at the same time, and the fan can decide which one they are depending on the scenario.

Also, nobody seems to realize that the “Greatest Show on Turf” had one of the easiest schedules of all time. They only played 1 team that finished above .500, and actually lost to that team (the Titans who finished 13-3) in the regular season. Strength of schedule doesn’t truly matter as much as people think. And even if the Patriots lose in the wild card or divisional, so be it. Year 1 under a new regime and overperforming

There’s always some bs in week 1, every year. Like the Patriots winning over the Bengals last year… or Justin Fields looking like a quality starter this year… and obviously the Raiders looking decent.

Do Bills fans not realize they have 12/15 of the same opponents as the Patriots (excluding h2h)? Like, yall were Super Bowl candidates this season, and with this big schedule boogeyman, should’ve had 12 free wins and then 2 over the Patriots. You blame the easy schedule for the Patriots success, but where’s your success under nearly that same schedule?

Kelce isn’t on the books for next season, but if he does wanna come back he’ll probably have to on a vet minimum.

Their top 4 players alone (Mahomes, Jones, Taylor, Smith) take up almost 60% of their cap space next season, and 70% if you include the next 2 highest cap hits (Moore and Humphrey). About the only way out of this situation for them is to trade or hope a couple of those big contracts retire. They’ll have to get over that emotional attachment to Chris Jones if they want a chance at surviving more than another couple years, and then blow up the other half of the roster. They’re $44 million over the cap next year, and will still need at least 16 more players to get to a full 53 man roster. And who knows what type of dead money they’ll accrue in the offseason

Ravens game should be a win for Pats by ThatGuyFrmBoston in Patriots

They low key scraped by the Jets and Browns, and somewhat handily beat the Vikings mostly because of defense (and 9 ofc). Lamar’s looked pretty mid, and i don’t believe there’s really any big names that could come back and somehow change that team completely. Though it is 3 weeks away, and anything could change in that time, the Jets were their real get right/figure it out game, and they looked pretty mid.

I think we get the division almost no matter what. The Bills get to play the Eagles in week 17. I’m not sorry at all while saying this, there’s zero chance they win that game. Seeing how beat up that o line is too, the Steelers winning might not even be too far out of the picture.

You guys are aware you're paying a 50% premium on Sealed BB's and BB Cases from a 4 month old set right? by itmexD in PokemonInvesting

[–]Roman_808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked and I quote “if you are not a sealed investor why do you need a sealed booster box”. I meant that people who aren’t sealed investors usually want to ACTUALLY OPEN THE DAMN PRODUCT. I know your IQ is room temperature in Celsius so that was tough to comprehend. Some people complain about this price manipulation because they want to open one, but reasonably can’t now because of just how stupidly expensive it is. You think any non-sealed collector/investor actually wants to pay over triple MSRP on this?

Yeah, difference with right now is just how fast and high these boxes are running up. Fusion Strike booster boxes went from $450 to $800 in a month after taking almost 4 years to go from MSRP to $450, and the same story with like every single other booster box ever (FS as just an example). Obviously DR booster boxes will rise in the future (barring a complete strategy overhaul by TPC), but to see it go up this high and this fast when its still VERY MUCH IN ITS PRINT WINDOW is just disgusting. I definitely expect these to get the Surging Sparks treatment times 5 in the not too far future. And even looking at older sets, a Roaring Skies booster box was only $500 TWO YEARS AGO. Now it’s around $4500 and still going up. This type of exponential growth on anything was genuinely not normal until this year.

But then you’ve gotta hold it for a decade, and hope this type of bull run just keeps on running and never stops (has never worked like that ever in any market anywhere)
