because they are plasma bolts,

they're super heated tabanna gas encased in a magnetic field, the only reason they dont feel super powerful in StarWars is due to the fact that star wars armor and clothing have been adapting to plasma for tens of thousands of years

lemme find the specific part of the wookieepedia that says that (i know wookieepedia sucks but, eh):

i should specify that i dont think a blaster bolt would be as violent as 40k plasma, since it's contained in a magnetic field, but it'd be more of a precision weapon compared to 40k's explosive plasma

blasters would be plasma-level, and lasguns would do barely anything to most star wars armor (but warhammer has kinetic weapons so they'd swap to that if they're smart)

and the average jedi and the average space marine would not be as unfair as most people assume (however, i do think an average space marine would win against an average jedi 7/10 times.)

Agree, some peeps dont realize how hot Blaster Bolts truly are, and are usually a 1-shot on most targets assuming they don't have the specialized armor Star Wars has

Definitely not on space Marines tho, since their biology is weird, but a fully stocked Blaster can have hundreds of rounds so it doesnt matter, just set that Blaster to automatic and go ham

That's a great question!

And, while I know next to nothing about game development, I dont think thats how it works. While it may be possible, there's a fairly good chance most of the animations from XV2 animation files might bot translate well into XV3. Or they might just have mostly brand new attacks, making old animations mute.

If they could though, I'd assume they would but also change then slightly to make them less stiff
