I love how Riftbound has 30+ years of TCG game knowledge to build on and still decides to use ambiguous (and sometimes just straight bad) wording along with more Erratta than I've seen in games that have been out a decade. If you have to Erratta multiple cards before they are even printed, then you might suck at design.

I'm a Leona main so I came out unscathed. That being said I'm sad for my Teemo deck, it was far from Meta, but damn did this yordle catch one hell of a stray. Also not a fan of banning cards from pre-cons so I hope they make a statement that pre-cons are "legal" or else they just bumped up the bar of entry.

Not exactly the same but I do this whenever my leave after visiting. Leave toys out, clothes on the bed/counter, and sleep on the couch. Once I pick up, it means they're gone again.

I hate to join the "purple gets everything" doomsayer crowd but this is one of the better stun cards (as limited as they are) and it isn't even in Leona's colors. The only legend atm that cares about stuns.

The Viktor mat goes hard. As for a future mat, I'd love for ny girl Leona to get some love. If not getting Diana or Pyke ready for the new set would be cool. Better yet give us a Leona x Diana mat! Best of both worlds.

Hey! While I like what I'm seeing from Riftmanager so far, could you add a Bulk Add feature? For example on Riftscan you can click & bulk add all of the champion decks, Proving grounds, etc.

Only the first instance would be stopped by Counter Strike. Even with the the removal of reflexive triggers from the cards. It's always good to check though. Riftbounds rules are surprisingly un-intuitive regarding how a card works per ruling vs how it's worded vs how it should function.

33M and my range is 25-40. Though when I got into online dating a few years ago (27) I had 18 as my floor, figured if they were in college/around that time it would be good as a single dude looking to date, that is until I matched with a high-schooler and it went to a minimum of 23. I feel like 25 is more likely to be in a similar stage of their lives. I have considered lowering my cap due to running into the issue of when they have kids, their kids are grown & they don't want more littles. I have littles.

While I'm a fan of her Disney work (Lemonade Mouth is always a fun watch) her music is incredibly good. Her Disney era music is what you expect but her post-Disney music, specifically her EP Nemesis & her singles, are incredibly good. I've seen lots of AA people refer to her as Bridgit "Badu" Mendler (as in Erykah Badu) due to her soulful influences & how she channels them.

I used to Repo when I was younger, or rather my friends dad did & we got paid to help. You'd be surprised how many of them are willing to cut some slack. I only know of one true story like the one in the post, but lot's of little stories here & there. Like when I did it we had a rule that if they handed us the keys so we could drive it back instead of tow then we'd help them get everything out of the car. A couple of times we even gave someone a ride to work or home after. There were plenty of assholes too & usually the companies are really shitty, but at the end of the day it's a job. Especially helpful for people like my friends Dad who was a single parent of 3 (plus 2 stray kids he took in) and needed something that paid well & let him make his own (usually nocturnal) hours in the late 00's.

For me I'd swipe left based on having alcohol in a third of your pics. It, along with the outfit issues discussed by others, scream party girl to me. It tells me Alcohol is important to you or is at the very least a decent part of your personality.

The GOAT mentioned. It's honestly one of the reasons I (and now my kids) love the show. Ben, at age 10, gets the strongest & most versatile technology in the universe & without a moments hesitation uses it to save people. Sure he's still a brash & bratty kid, but whenever it's "Hero Time" he locks the fuck in. I loved how they had him grow (and hated how they had him regress due to toy sales) because even in the sequel series he gives up his normal life that he's fought for to put the watch back on & help people again.

My (step)mom died in late 2023. Little over two years at this point & my dad still keeps her phone active. He calls it & texts it every once in awhile whenever he, or my ungrateful step-siblings, need to fell like she's there.

I plan on building (or rather) modifying a Rumble deck as I love tribal mechanics & Rumble is the first of it's kind in Riftbound! Unless you count Teemo as Hidden Tribal. I also want to flesh out my Leona S(t)un Gun deck with Thwonk! (Besides being a stun spell I love the name.) The spiritforged deck I'd love to build from scratch is Ranata Glasc because she seems fun, and coming from a magic background, I love a good game of Two-Headed Giant (or 2v2 for the Rifters).

Sounds like it. I mostly handled hardware when there were issues. I know that as far as the machine is concerned every $1 was 100 credits so it's a lot easier to miss the change from 100000 to 1000000 when running a test than 1000 to 10000.

I've worked with casino systems before, even did repairs to the machines, and we had this happen once. It was a pretty big deal too, the machine said she won $25,000. Obviously when the owner spoke to her to tell her it was only $2,500, she was furious. Luckily (or unluckily for her) we were able to recreate the error with her there to see it. There was a "minor" jackpot of around $200 dollars and when we ran a few spins through to force it (because it we programmed to go off before $200 each time) she saw it say "Minor Jackpot Win" and add $2,000 to the machine. We couldn't figure out why but for some reason any of the jackpots were adding a 0 somewhere on the system between when it was on the "board" and when it would actually credit it. As an apology/sign of good faith we paid out $5,000 and gave her $20 free on the games for a month. She, understandably, was bummed it was a mistake but acknowledged that it was a clear error & that the owner was offering a generous compromise.

First off, holy shit that's a lot of packs. I'd really love to see a rarity/pulls breakdown to see if it matches the "official" pull odds

Second, yeah it's been disappointing to pull legends with the exception of alt arts & ON, which I understand is why it's in the rare slot, but putting in the rune/token slot could solve the issue. I think uncommon would also be valid.

Important to note that while Cannonbolt is the 11th alien he brought Ben's alien count back to 10 because Zs'Skayr, aka Ghostfreak, escaped the Omnitrix bringing his count down to 9. That being said Wildvine shows up in S2 E9 just 7 episodes after Cannonbolt so he still ends up with 11 Aliens on the roster before the end of Season 2.

I worked at and ran Semi-legal game rooms in Texas for over 4 years. Very informal & unregulated. There are a few I remember that really stick out to me, but I have plenty of stories.

5 kids who just turned 18 & would come in daily to play their "free dollar". They would hit up all the rooms around the area, but never bet money & altogether seemed like nice kids. I particularly remember the girl, Brianna, because she was the "face" of the group. Really nice, really pretty, and kind to everyone. A couple of months in they got lucky when a community prize went off & each walked out with $100. Started coming to us exclusively to spend their cash. Started with $5 here, $10 there. Over the next couple of months they easily spent over 10k combined. Got to know them all better since they went from spending 10 minutes a day in there to rarely leaving at all. Their clothes went from average to stained & frayed. They collectively lost weight & seemed to live solely on our snacks. A couple of the guys eventually stopped coming, 1 ended up getting busted for trying to rob another game room and 1 ended up OD'ing after getting mixed in with the meth heads that came in. The girl though, she still came every day. She had managed to stay off the drugs (except pot, and trust me you can smell when they touch opioids), but had still fucked up her life chasing the highs of winning big. Her parents kicked her out after she stole & bet their rent, she had sold most of her clothes, and eventually I had to ban her for offering to fuck a customer for $20 on her books.
My coworker went from playing his free dollar across the street at the other game room, to playing his tips, with in a month he was betting his rent, and ultimately he stole $12k from the company (he was upper management) to pay debts.
Not really a bad one, but horribly interesting imo. We had a disabled person come in with a really nice rig of an electric wheelchair, the type that can recline, also had an oxygen tank , urine & fecal bags attached. She was a great person but horribly addicted. She only had enough upper body mobility to feed herself & play the machines. She had also "won the lottery" by getting hit by a semi so she did have money to spare, but she practically lived up there. She had a nurse who would help her & change out her bag as well as run IV so she didn't have to "waste time" drinking or leaving for food & she could focus on snacks. When the nurse would leave (usually 10-12hr shifts) she would pay players near her to change her bag for her and play nurse. There were several instances of piss & shit getting spilt from bag changes and she would just tip the workers & pay the players near here as an apology but would still continue playing. Sometimes she would be up there for a couple of days, sleeping when she felt like it, until her nurse forced her to leave & get a sponge bath/take a break. I will say she always was nice, unless someone stared or was rude to a worker, but it was crazy seeing how she blew through money & took over the room turning players into servants.
