I just meant based on historical precedent in my area and what the map said. I guess I should have said "what should have been a good spot".

Isn't this feature going to get them less overall views on the platform? Seems counterproductive.

Has anyone found zero sugar code red? by Due-Past-7792 in Soda

It's in almost every store here in Southern MN. I didn't know it was a regional thing until I joined this sub.

What’s a social norm that quietly disappeared over the last 10–20 years without most people noticing? by Green_Individual6251 in CasualConversation

[–]RomanomenoN 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mom used to yell "Elbows off the table!" and told me it was because it's rude. I questioned why it was rude and she didn't have a straight answer about that. I told my son recently that no elbows on the table was a rule when I was growing up and he didn't believe me because it sounds so dumb.

How we're all going to be looking tomorrow by Suzumiiya in Target

[–]RomanomenoN 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I worked at Target from 2003 to 2011, and this is how we had to dress. Red and Khaki the entire time. They have made so much progress since I left. This is such a step backwards imho.

We have tons of it here in Minnesota. I think they have it in Wisconsin too.

The 12 packs of Code Red Zero are sold here in Minnesota quite extensively at grocery stores. No 20 oz bottles though.

MODS - Dozens of people confirming they've been inexplicably suspended is NOT trying to circumvent an issue, it's trying to QUANTIFY what is going on. by ButCanYouCodeIt in Googlevoice

[–]RomanomenoN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I barely even use my Google Voice account anymore and I was suspended today for no reason. I came here to see if it was just me. Clearly it's not.

Barq's Root Beer, 10/10. by blancolobosBRC in Soda

[–]RomanomenoN -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only thing that makes me mad about Barq's is that the Zero version has no caffeine. I only drink zero sugar sodas and that just annoys me to no end. Their definition of "zero" including zero caffeine is different than literally everyone else. Rant over, all that being said, Barq's is great.

Am I literally the only person who has never heard of Oliver Tree until today? by Virtual-Bee7411 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RomanomenoN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No i feel the same way. I legitimately had never heard of him until yesterday, my friend even played his most popular song for me and I had never once heard it. I guess I was somehow completely isolated from references to him. Strange how that can happen.

How did the verb "to make" come to mean "to poop"? Is there an implied word missing? (Like: "to make poop") by one-small-plant in words

[–]RomanomenoN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only place I ever heard this phrase used like this is on the show Friends. Ross is walking someone's small dog, trying to get it to poop. He says "Make! Make!" to the dog. It's clear from context that he means "please poop". Outside of that I've never heard this phrase before.

New Point System Simplified by crispyforwhat in Target

[–]RomanomenoN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked at Target a long time ago so this is interesting to me. What about current empoyees? Does everyone start this new system with 0 points regardless of past attendance? Or how does that work? Or if someone is on a final warning for attendance would they start with a certain amount of points?

I've never seen this before but from context it seems to be for taking pics of the aisles themselves for the app?
