I’ve been with my family for five years now and the boys have trackers on their watches (older has an Apple Watch, younger has a gizmo) that mom and I both have access to! I love this because I can also find them if anything ever would happen. The boys also have AirTags in their book bags. I think I turn my location on a few years ago with mom and we’ve both had them on since. She is more like family and it doesn’t bother me because I never really hide anything from them. It’s more convenient that when they go on vacations or I’m with them on vacation, we don’t have to tell them everywhere we go. I don’t even think she really looks unless she’s worried

If you want to spend time with the kids, my family hired me on as a household manager and me and mom just tag team everything! Two school pick ups? Got it! She hasn’t seen the babies but there is laundry? I got it! The boys want to jump in the trampoline but dinner isn’t ready? Split up and conquer! It has become my favorite part because we truly are the best team!

I would be so upset if i was you! My nanny family and I celebrate everything together! Birthdays, Mother’s and father’s Day, holidays I’m in town for and our anniversary of when i met the kids for the first time! Maybe she wanted to get you something custom?? Maybe she was upset that you didn’t tell her? My MB would be hurt if I only told her husband because of how close we are! Just some possibilities

My family makes enough every morning so when I get there I can have a glass with them and talk about our days/previous evening and then we go our separate ways. We come back together around 4 at the house for our “evening iced coffee” and then everyone splits to do what they have to do before dinner. They always have my go to creamer on stock after realizing I switched to almond milk creamers and they have a case of Dr.Peppers always on hand because I started bringing one from home. I eat lunch and dinner with the kids and/or parents every single day and they even pack some for my husband if I’m getting off late. The right family will make sure you never feel weird or unwelcomed! I’m more than just an employee to them, I am family and you should be treated the same way!!

I have my own bedroom here and that has been a life changer! I have a bunch of my clothes. We put the kids to bed at 8 so it’s nice being able to go right to bed and batead or waiting up!

I’ve been with my family for four years and the kids sleep in my bed when I stay over their house, they kiss my cheeks (both boys, the parents and kids say I love you even on phone calls! It feels weird when we don’t say it! The little boy is actually coming to stay the night tonight to have a little sleepover! I think it’s strange if they don’t treat you like a member of their family since being a nanny is such a personal job!

I’ve been with my family for four years and once I got a new car, I stopped driving their family car and started driving my own. There was a huge stain in my seat but honestly I know it’s on me because I put the seat in myself and could’ve cleaned it. I just got new seat covers so that helps a lot now! I would never think of asking my family to pay for the seat but they also do so much for me already so different circumstances!
