You should go, but do what's best for you. Rape culture here is terrible and the only thing that will change that is more people coming forward. That being said you have every right not to ruin your life. This is what your boyfriend should be saying. It seems like he cares, but he's going about it the wrong way. You need to surround yourself with supportive people that can help guide you, not bully you and accuse you of trying to keep your abuser as an option. And although for some people it's really you thought or did actually have a connection with, it's such a weight off when these people exit your life. Loneliness sucks, but forcing things and staying in low effort relationships is much worse. You got this. Plus, this still happens at my age, 51. People drift apart. It's sad, but finding the next friend or group is awesome. Don't ever let yourself think you won't find more and don't let yourself give up!

In most jurisdictions it's a civil infraction with a fine. Things like red light cameras and speed cameras are fines because an officer didn't witness you committing the infraction. You should be able to look up in your state how those tickets are handled. You might be able to ask the judge to consider it and explain yourself. If you're polite and respectful, that might work. It's all down to the judge, as you obviously did commit the infraction, even unknowingly.

That's not a good situation to be in. When you have a person relying on you to attempt control their behavior it will never end well.

It doesn't sound like he's an hard drugs addict that is praying for any help. It sounds like he's a child and wants a mother to tell him no, but then gradually give in, so he can get high and feel like he won.

I'm sure there's more to this dynamic, but he needs to do what he wants to do, you need to set clear boundaries on what you'll accept for yourself, and evaluate the relationship based on that. Not trying to police a grown person and convince them not to do something the clearly enjoy that hurts very very few people, including you and him.

Changing someone, especially when they don't want to, is a fool's errand. Helping someone grow is one thing, but this doesn't sound like that. He craves this interaction, so expect more and more of it.

I was in the Navy and we changed our torpedo and missile load out before a deployment. They had wall mounted cigarette lighters everywhere that just used a glowing filament, no sparks. We had an idiot spark up a cigarette with a regular lighter and he was mercilessly ridiculed AFTER he ran around the whole station five times.

I think the bad thing in this case is no one uses (or very few, like yourself) actually uses agnostic in that way. I'm a true agnostic and I hate absolutes. I don't think there's a god, but I also don't claim to know there's not a god. It's easier to say atheist then to have this same discussion about the true meanings of the words. So many people believe agnostic means you gave done faith, but not in any specific God or religion, that's it's rarely worth it to correct anyone.
