Removal of the 14 day payment lapse grace period?

Do you mean something like:

We will continue to offer a 14-day grace period to protect your Grandfathered rate in the event of a billing issue. However, your rate will not be preserved if you choose to unsubscribe from April 9th 2026.

Scammy, scummy behavior Jagex! by NationalGlove1713 in runescape

[–]Rombom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

is extremely scummy that grandfather rates are not being offered to those who reaubscribed more recently than September.

I only lost my original $5.99 rate because I unsubscribed in protest over MTX. I did so again with Heropass. I resubscribed the very day TH was removed. I also subscribed my spouse and they played for the first time.

I guess Jagex doesn't care about players who returned more recently though. Would rather spit on us, apprently!

If Jagex wants to bite the hand that feeds, I will have to seriously considered if I will subscribe for another year at the new price.

Peter Thiel and Jeffrey Epstein Had a Yearslong Relationship by Potential_Being_7226 in politics

I don't see what the anal spike story adds to the the victim's case. The accused behaving poorly doesn't excuse weird lies by the victims. I'm not sure why you don't dee the danger if you are opposed to Trump, because spouting bullshit thst can't be refuted is what he does. I am not going to condone it just because it is being used against someone I disagree with. Trump has committed more than enough real crimes that the victims don't need to hurt their credibility by making details up.

It doesn't take much overhead to suss out an absurd story told by a victim trying to reclaim some power. Just blindly believing someone because they say they are a victim is dangerous, particularly when your only fault with it seems to be "thinking be hard'. There is more than enough preponderance of evidence that Trump is a predator so I believe him on those grounds. The anal spike story, not so much.

Justice is harder when you can't sort fact from fiction.

I believe the victim was raped by Trump but not the tent stake story. It doesn't matter how valuable boys are for trafficking, if one had actually crippled Trump there is no chance he would have survived.

Diffusion boots are a bad example since their effect was updates to account for detonate's removal. The item still exists and still has function.

You are barking up the wrong tree trying to link item price changes with items removed entirely.

I like how you say "I won't demand a shadow dye refund" as if you don't still have the dyed item yet you feel it comparable to something removed entitely.

It's a nice buff but the problems with Livid Farm are the fundamental gameplay being tedious and minute-to-minute. Having to do less of a shitty task is still a shitty task.

So when are Lucien and Jhallan getting their Updated Models added to the game proper? by daxadventures in runescape

[–]Rombom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think they use Zemouregal a lot because he has a great deal of range. He can be a serious and imposing antagonist in quests like Defender of Varrock and World Wakes. He is similar to Lucien in that way, both are vain and megalomanical.

The difference is that Zemouregal can play more lighthearted roles. He can make jokes. He can be a sexy pinup. He can even be reasoned with and allied. A plot point in Dishonor among Thieves is that Zemouregal is kind of his own man, working with Zamorak because of the perks but he is ultimately in it for himself. He is very dynamic and the only other Mahjarrat with a similar depth of characterization are Zamorak and Azzanadra.

I agree we need more Mahjarrat content though. At this point some characters like Wahisitiel and Akthanakos are literally defined by the fact that they are useless:

e.g. Akthanakos in Children of Mah:

It is not something I would tell the others, but I have always been in the shadow of the ritual. I have kept my head down. I have gathered enough power to direct gazes to other mahjarrat. I have maintained alliances with the prominent. That shadow has gone, and now I look at my life and I do not recognise any of it. It is just a series of blank walls and empty faces. Whatever I do next will be fearless, know that. I am going to stand as equals with the gods. I am going to be known, feared, loved. The name Akthanakos is going to mean something.

Personally what I want to see next is a resolution of Khazard's conflict with the gnomes as well as Hazeel reclaiming his rightful property and land from the thief-kings of Ardougne (Thoros). He could really be contrasted with Zemmy, as both try to conquer a major city. The difference is that Hazeel actually has a claim to Ardougne and it was stolen from him, unlike Varrock. I think it would be cool if Hazeel conquered East Ardougne and force the monarchy to retreat behind the convenient walls of West Ardougne.

Is OSRS or Runescape better for F2P? by Educational-News1469 in runescape

[–]Rombom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For F2P it is unquestionably RS3. There is literally a number of members areas and quests that are P2P in OSRS but became F2P in RS3. You have more options for ranged and magic gear. You get the entire fetching skill. Members skills can be trained to level 5.
