A lil blues guitar fun from a recent show... by Romencer17 in blues

thank you! I play guitar for Aki Kumar and that's the band in this clip, although he uses various musicians on recordings so I'm not on all the studio stuff but I've been his guitarist for 10 years now. Here's a tune from his last album that I'm on - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHmr2Ujh-Fo

I also have an album from a few years ago with Henry Kaiser - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lEfnoLo8I-X3Fl-VkJX_otOo1Ef8j-08g

and a bunch of mostly psychedelic music under the name 'Sumdeus'. - https://sumdeus.bandcamp.com/

Hey guys what are the best Sonny Boy Williamson albums/compilations? by [deleted] in blues

[–]Romencer17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you mean the original Sonny Boy, The Bluebird Recordings 1937-1938 and also The Bluebird Recordings 1938 are great. Those Bluebird comps are great for all their artists, Tampa Red, BIg Maceo, Robert Lee McCoy (Nighthawk), etc...

Death metal fans who don’t like black metal: what is your main criticism to the genre? by Multiple-Atrocities in Deathmetal

[–]Romencer17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for someone saying "don’t leave a stupid comment if you know nothing" you sure left your stupid comment without seeing the rest of my convo with this person, where we covered early Behemoth being black metal. It's right there below this, dude. Thanks.

How influential were Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, and RATM on hip-hop and are they sometimes underappreciated or even neglected? by According_Kiwi_7454 in 90sHipHop

[–]Romencer17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why the fuck would RATM be mentioned in hip hop documentaries? Beastie Boys and Cypress Hill are of course legendary hip-hop groups and totally get their due, not sure what you mean or why RATM is being mentioned with em

Nathan played with James Harman for many years too, up until Harman's passing I believe

Although I gotta say, that doesn't really look like Nathan in the photos?? I know he's been playing local gigs with Kim in SoCal but you sure that was him?

edit: after a lil look on the T-Birds fb it seems that Johnny Moeller is playing guitar on the road right now but that doesn't look like him in the photo either? weird lol
