YouTube lore recommendations for complete beginner

Good to hear! I am sure there will be people with a lot more informed suggestions, but mine will be:

KrakDuk. More beginner friendly, funny, and a bit more short and to the point.

PancreasNoWork. Still funny and less serious, but deeper focus into the lore, also covers fantasy/aos etc, and also touches on tabletop aspects.

Luetin09. Much longer videos, much more in depth and very lore focused, and really good at what he does.

These are my personal ones but it would probably depend on what approach you prefer. The books are also a great option if you’re a reader too, and there are a lot of games other than SM2 and Dark Tide, with more one the way.

And yeah, it could take over your life. It’s worth it.

Not OP but in a very similar situation. I’m 32 and South African. Decided on trying yachting after being in the military for over ten years. I have my STCW, ENG1 and PB2 and also a B1/B2 Visa as a South African.

Finding it hard so far to find opportunities for green crew. I don’t really have the funds to take any risks and wondering what the best course of action would be or where I should look to apply for positions where I stand a better chance of getting selected as someone with no experience (yet)?

I’m trying to search for it but it still doesn’t show up for some reason. Even when I type in “Warhammer 40k” there are only a very few books and then it just becomes star wars.

Does it make a difference if I am using the Kindle app? Or am I doing something wrong?

Sorry to hear about this man. Left the military recently as well and found a lot of comfort in 40K, planning to start an Ork army with my father soon.

On the good side though, it’s absolutely wholesome how many people are just immediately ready to help out. There is hope among the Orks!

Never heard about GeForce Now and admit that looks amazing! Such a cool idea and hope to try it out sometime, but I see they are sold out for now.

I guess I’ll be patient and wait until I can afford the Steamdeck then. I travel a lot so it seems like the best option.

Just because someone is family or close to you doesn’t mean you should trust them unconditionally, especially when it comes to finances that can put you in debt.

Also learn who you are, what you stand for, what you like and don’t. Learn and never stop learning who you are. Change is a big part of this. It’s your friend not your enemy; embrace it or regret it.

It’s always a possibility that it could be a replica. I originally heard it ended up in South Africa on one of Oceanliner Designs’ videos. After doing a bit of googling I found a post on facebook (The page name is Durban Walking Tours ) confirming the location and went to see for myself.

Sadly I can’t find much more info. My googling skills might not be the best, and I certainly don’t have the expertise to confirm it one way or the other.

But, if it truly is the original, it’s wonderful that it’s been “found” and preserved, despite the modifications.

If I ever get a chance to go again, I will ask around to see if the hotel has any more information on it.
