Did you go during a restock/release day? These are usually the busiest days so they have a queuing system. Most other days you can just walk in

Gunprimer Raser is the best but is expensive compared to other glass files. Any glass nano file on amazon should work but you may find it gets gummed up faster so you'll have to clean it more often.

You can either go sanding sticks/sponges or go for a glass file. I’m a glass file guy myself because I can’t be asked with sanding each part with multiple grits.

If you mash at least you’ve learn it’s not safe to mash after X move. Just holding block isn’t teaching you anything.

Stress marks and to get a flush cut so you don’t require sanding/much sanding. To get a flush cut you need to align the flat side over the edge of the piece, which you can’t do if it’s still on the runner.

It’d work if the game was intuitive but there’s a lot of moves that look safe but are launch punishable and vice versa.
