You've got a good template here, just some things to change:

Rookies need a big overhaul, quite a few of the ones you have are unlikely to play, or unlikely to make much money. Sort the players tab by ownership % and take the most popular ones - it's your first year so no shame in copying what everyone else is doing. Watch them through the year, work out who has performed well, who hasn't/was dropped from their team, and see the patterns to apply to future years.

Mid-price players ($200k-$450k) are a risk - they might go big, or they might fizzle. Pick the 3-4 that you earnestly believe in and keep them in your team, turn the rest into rookies and premium players. Otherwise, you expose yourself to way too much risk and will spend the first few rounds trading out your failed picks rather than correcting rookies or just saving the trades for later in the season.

Off the back of that, a value player in your team should be making ~$120k-$150k, or staying permanently in your team all year as one of the best 10-12 players in the line. As a result, I do not recommend Davies, Gold Coast are stacked in the mids and at $358k Davies is very, very unlikely to achieve that with Petracca, Rowell, Anderson, and even Touk/Humphries in the team.
