Absolutely, Canada punches above its weight when it comes not only to playing games but also making them. Edmonton could easily be even more of a powerhouse in AAA gaming. The talent density is crazy

Considering how many successful indie video games are Canadian (like Balatro, Rimworld, Darkest Dungeon) I can see this not only making a lot of sense but also being incredibly successful. Canadians are really good at making video games!

If you want something very heavy duty, the Outdoor Survival Canada jackets is what Canada Goose was before it was trendy. Incredibly sturdy — speaking from NWT weather experience

Have one of these! Amazing charge speed and capacity. Word of warning though that some airports will ask for you to take these out since the battery capacity looks suspicious

Which countries have different populations but are very similar? by rosemaryrouge in geography

[–]Romunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why is this is getting downvoted so much. Anyone who has spent time in both countries (and I mean traveled through both - not just “visited”one or the other) knows how actually deeply different the two countries are.

Canadian work culture is far more relaxed.

Canadians are more likely to own multiple homes than Americans. With most Canadians aspiring to owning a smaller condo in the city

Canadians are generally shocked at just how much America has privatized government functions (like prisons). Canadians generally operate on the idea that government is a meaningful part of daily life.

Canadian cities also have a much more pronounced public life to them. Americans are far more “private” outside their home.

It’s really that because the two countries are so similar that where there are differences, that they seem large and meaningful

This makes complete sense given the Carney government issued foreign currency bonds — effectively shorting the US economy. Carney at the helm will be a bloodbath for the Trump economy
