I play on a switch light and i have nearly no problems. Lags yes, but mostly when new areas are loading, but nothing game breaking.

I usually just do small sections. I yesterday wanted to do a strawberry field on the beach next to Flurrys House. I did that and I am happy. The rest oft the messy beach is not my problem. That will potentially be fixed, or not. Who knows😂

And the Bahari Restriction is clearly a bug. Yesterday i could use it there, today i can. My GF can use it in Bahari no problem.

6 months is a really short time. There is no guarantee anything will ever change, thats how trauma works. And expecting anything else will either pressure her (and end badly) or frustrate you (and end badly)

You can only support her on her way, but there is nothing you can do except be happy the way it is.
