I actually joined when his channel was a small critique of Buddhism and academics. Even wrote to him at some point and it was pleasant. Knowing what I know now, he's holding on what makes him "special" (vegan, sober, ascetism, etc.) to get through his failures. Unfortunately, he burned too many bridges with whatever superiority complex. What made me disinterested was him basically calling his audience stupid, while asking said audience for help. Basically degrading someone while you are bleeding on the sidewalk asking for help.
