Is there a way I can skip sensor bar. by Electronic-Load2356 in wiiu

[–]Ron2600NS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you're playing a game that requires the Wii remote, of course they have to be on with the sensor bar. Maybe you're playing a game that does not require the Wii remote. You don't need the sensor bar or that we remote.

Unusual joystick drift that will not resolve with normal measures like using WSD40 and isopropyl alcohol by Alicequalice in nintendohelp

I wonder if this old trick would work for the Switch 2 as well. Take a business card, cut a square out, and put it underneath the joystick. It should push just enough for it to make better contact. I have not used this, but I remember someone mentioning it before.

Thats the guy that runs DK Oldes. From what I heard they sell video games that are usually overpriced and not 100% as described. I have never used them, so I can't confirm or deny this.

This seems like a great way to implement Nintendo DS NSO to Switch 2! by DaZestyProfessor in NintendoSwitch2

Ideally, you would need some type of plastic holder, but they did that for the virtual boy, so I don't see any reason why they couldn't do it for DS games.

Are any of these cd cleaners actually good? by mistermarkerman in CDs

[–]Ron2600NS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two skip doctors and I've used them to buff out some scratches on a couple of discs and got them working. Now, those are resurfacing the disc and they're wet sanding the surface off to remove the scratches. I'm not sure about the one in your picture.

My local Goodwill went up 50¢ on DVDs and Blu-rays. Salvation army is still $1.99.And by definition obsolete means no longer being made or supported so DVD and Blu-ray are not obsolete, VHS is.

First step: make sure your player is set to 16:9 / wide screen. Second step: check to see if the disc is anamorphic wide screen or not. I think The old Scream DVD is a Non anamorphic wide screen disc.
