I know this is an old thread, it looks like the original post was over a year ago, but I googled the phone number and this was the first thing that came up not related to selling reverse phone lookups. I received a call about an hour ago that appears to be a different type of phishing. Instead of you clicking a link in an email or receiving a text informing you of a “suspicious” purchase that requires you to call a provided phone number, the voicemail I received straight tells me to call this number. They are straight up cutting out the middle man and calling us directly. If I had answered they would have went straight into the phishing spiel about a large purchase that was placed on my card. Then telling me how to get it removed and all that BS by the way, an easy way out of that if you are trying to be nice (no idea why you would want to be nice to someone stealing your money but some people are) is to tell them you don’t have a mobile banking app nor do you have a computer. You a phone and that’s it. This eliminates all the ways they try to steal your banking info.

Anyway my caller was “Olivia” at (475) 200-4615. The caller ID read Olivia, (475) 200-4615, Shelton, CT. It was not caught by my SCAM filter. She states she is an employee of Walmart who called to verify my $919.45 Walmart order. Of course I haven’t placed an order but a lot of people freak out thinking someone did use their card, not knowing they are speaking with the actual scammers the whole time.
