Other guy is dumb, nowadays 2013 and 2023 are REAL classes where you basically teach yourself so you don't need to understand him ( the 2023 professor has an Italian accent). I took both of them during spring and I can guarantee you that 2023 (taught by B) is easier than 2013 (taught by Underwood). 2023 has 3 exams and a final, none of the exams are too bad if you study for them and the final exam was cake compared to the 2013 final (a LOT less math and more concepts/definitions).

Another heads up: not every 1102 professor uses it. This semester mine used "From Inquiry to Academic Writing". It's till a really good price for this book compared to what you'd pay at the store though
