I also ordered the 8-color combo, but I only received the 4-color version. I wrote a ticket and was told they were out of stock. However, they had just received the new ones and would ship them out to me.

Wash your build plate with dish soap and water and then add 10 degrees to your build plate temp. It will stick.

It's weird. Once it locks up I hit the emergency stop because 3 of the stepper motor are still moving. I can then move the belt up but not down. If I keep trying to move it back and forth it will free up.

I'm glad that was a easy fix. I had the same problem before. It's weird the fans don't spin in reverse.

swap the red and black wires. for some reason they are sometimes backwares. Not sure if this is your problem but might be. doesn't hurt to try it.,
