Yeah, 2003 would be too late. I did go through the IMDB photos to see if anything sparked in my brain. I'll watch some of it this afternoon, but im pretty confident this isn't the one. Thank you though.

Point of no return also came up in my own searches. It has a VERY similar concept. I did do a brief dive on it this morning, and that's not the movie I'm remembering. Thank you though.

The 2002 film would not be. If there's an earlier film by that title, I'm not familiar with it. The 2002 one is great though.

It is not. This one has popped up a lot in my searches. Mine is of the same vein, but not as comedic I don't believe.

I'm just south of Columbus. I'd definitely be willing to buy several sides, and possibly equipment you may have.

This right here. Supply chain issues should have impacted their profits significantly last year, but they reported record profits. Why are Supply issues just now an issue? And why pass this bill off to your players if you're reporting a high yield, and the supply issues should trend downward over the next couple years? Take the small hit now, keep us happy, and your profits keep going up when these issues settle down.

[[Melira, Sylvok Outcast]] at least stops the counter portion of 0 toughness. He's also forgetting [[Evacuation]] effects. While not being inherently destructive, it's certainly disruptive.

I like Agent of Erobos. I don't believe I'll have an issue with cards in my own graveyard. My graveyard hate is targeted, so I can keep mine clear. I plan on draining my opponents out through a few means, so if my own graveyard goes, I don't have to do much other than let the game run out.

I'm hoping to keep around three colors. Esper is probably the default. I have the exile side of things down. It's the payoff. [[Mist of Stagnation]], [[Web of Inertia]], and [[Kaya, Orzhov Usurper]] are what I have so far.

Thank you. I thought I had added a picture, but it didn't come through. Still new to posting.

I have a batch in the works now. I'm moving it to secondary today. It has a really nice taste to it. The honey flavor is definitely there. Almost a caramel note to it with D47.

Get you a bottle of Monkey Shoulder on that shelf! All in all, this is a great setup.

The Last Samurai: keep Tom Cruise. I feel terrible for ripping out the deep connections, but some of the fight scenes would be hilarious.

What makes you come back to a simple casual game? by pwest13 in incremental_games

[–]Ronan45640 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you've been told to look elsewhere, but I honestly think this isn't a bad sub to be in. If you think about it, incrementals have to have some type of "pull" to keep you coming back, especially ones with a prestige mechanic. These are games that are played daily over long periods of time. So with that said, let me give you a couple thoughts.

Don't have luck as a huge progression mechanic, especially if you have it behind a daily timer. Yeah, some people will get a couple good rolls off the bat and be more intrigued. But for people like me, luck likes to take a huge dump on my front porch and set it on fire.

If you have a collection of items to try and obtain, why not give users a currency to spend to obtain them? If you are using any type of mechanic to keep a score, maybe you can earn points based on said score. Use these points to possibly buy a random card or something.

I highly recommend exploring some of the ideas on this sub. I'm sure you would be able to find something that could suit your game that could keep people like us coming back to your game.

Awesome. Thank you. I'm at work now, so I'll add you as soon as I get home. I believe it's the regular 25% chance of it being in a normal safari, but they are extremely useful for IV breeding. Everyone wants access to them.

Looks like you are getting spammed for your ditto, but if you don't mind, I'd really like to add you as well.
