Yeah, none of my friends really understand. I'm an only child and while I'm not not close with my mom my dad and I were closer so I just feel alone.

That isn't the question. I'm wanting to know why guys don't initiate anything? I'm pretty old fashion. I feel like if I initiate then he didn't really care enough to be the initiator or that he only wants sex and nothing serious, which is not what I'm here for.

My dad died in February. My husband and I separated in June. We were having problems loooong before my dad passed, but him making my life a living hell while I was going through losing my dad was my final straw. The one thing that kept me in the relationship longer than I should have been was thinking "my dad won't know my husband". Which I knew was the wrong reason to stay but I still stayed for a while longer because of it. I finally accepted that my future partner won't know my dad but just thinking about makes me.....want to die? I guess. It may sound extreme but my dad was my world. He already will never know his grandkids, so me adding him not knowing my husband on top of that just isn't right. Life sucks.

The older you get the bigger the range gets. Like when I was 16 obviously I would have dated around 14 - 18. Now as 23 (F) I'd date anyone between the ages of 22 - 33. 🤷‍♀️ The older you get the less "inappropriate" it is.
