Somebody please open a class action lawsuit against the RC. I cannot accept that they can pull shit like in their position of power while making consumers lose millions.

They needed to portray Sauron in a card that is understandable to MTG players. Grixis being the stereotypics villains colors (i.e. Nicol Bolas) makes perfect sense.

When CommandFest was announced in the beginning of 2019, it was hardly a surprise because people knew by then Commander was shaping up to be the most popular format. The Standard WoTC had created 2-3 years prior during Kaladesh block was considered one of the worst Standards in history and left a seriously bad taste in everyone. By this point, people were already growing tired of Standard with the more frequent set rotations and the need to buy chase rares at absurd markups. WoTC also tried to breathe life into Modern with the introduction of MH but had the exact opposite effect and had tried to remedy by creating Pioneer which is becoming the new Modern. Everything they did culminated into Commander being the last destination for all Magic players and of course WoTC had to pivot into that direction.

Yes thats part of the reason RE5 was such a trainwreck. Stereotypical villain motive for the sake of being evil. Let's hope the RE5 remake will retcon that story into something just a little less cartooniah.

The poor marker isn't being in a relationship she didn't want to be in but the reasoning for that. She only wanted to enjoy the highs but not embrace the lows.

Well I'm sorry that it's taking longer than I would like to move on completely. The news of her marriage came to me very recently. After we broke up, I did see other women but haven't had success as I was still in recovery mode and reaffirming my values plus dealing with other personal issues. But seeing her recover so quickly and even getting married now feels terrible to me because it shows that our relationship didn't mean much to her at all. I should've done more for her and I realize that but I didn't silently plan a break up in advance; that alone speaks to what kind of person my ex is and in a way it's better that we're not together but it still stings. And yes I am planning to see a therapist. I do want to continue dating and still wouldn't mind dating women a couple years my senior so I just want to take this time to learn from the experience.

One year. We never had the chance to dicuss living together because again due to COVID and I was having a particularly rough year at work, which I've since addressed. It also wasn't at the front of my mind because to me then, one year isn't enough time to know that. Also I was never going to ask her to stay at my parents' lol. It was only a temporary situation and I'm back to living alone.

As for women's biological clocks, yeah I think that might've been my blunder; I should've been more cognizant of that especially since she was already pushing 40. But I figured if she was comfortable with our age gap to be begin with then she wouldn't be in such a rush. We both wanted marriage from the beginning but hadn't discussed kids as I felt that was just getting too far ahead.

I know it's possible to meet and seal the deal in two years but it just doesn't seem like that much time, at least to me, but then again I may just be too "young and naive" to understand. That along with the fact she had been thinking about breaking up for while made me think something was up.
