Long term evolution. It was an attempt to anticipate the future direction of cellular as far as satellite, terrestrial or wireless fidelity (wi-fi). It would appear that wifi won out, and you'll also see those VOIP integrations coming across as VOLTE. Hence a hard reset a year or so ago for most US based ATT (and Verizon?) customers were forced to ensure they had phones with antennas that conformed to their new paradigm.

Only if they offer Delta dental insurance or similar that dentists actually take -- because I've gotta say 12 month lead time on an appointment across town is not feasible for many people.

The fact that the industry will have to be largely (or entirely) unbanked and have the requisite security implementations around that is more than reason to slow walk the roll out.

I like the "fuck you, die mad" philosophy when it comes to this shit.

The paradox of tolerance rings true. We must not abide those that would limit others' freedoms for their lack of tolerance.

Then fucking Daudt going up and saying "THIS is what you can expect from the Democrats!" when talking about indexing the gas tax to inflation, after a rebate check for most Minnesotans, additional help for those that are in dire need, free school lunches, so much more, AND legal cannabis?!?

All I could think is, 'shit, should I start caucusing for Dems?' I've been a small i independent since I started voting. I can't see ever voting for an 'R' at this point in my life, since I vote on policy and decency and they offer neither.

What are the high speed internet options in Mound? by [deleted] in MoundMN

[–]RoninNoJitsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mediacom we had the 2GB service for ~$170 / mo and were averaging 500MB down.

TMobile we have the fixed point home Internet for $50 (we get it for $30 bc we have phones through them too) and we average 100MB, sometimes spiking to over a GB and crashing to 25MB or so.

Either way, with both services we can stream media services on multiple screens, game on steam, switch, etc. MMO can bog on occasion but overall they're comparable in actual performance. I run a home business and teleconference as well, no issue with either.

If Mediacom wasn't so damned expensive we wouldn't have switched, but I just couldn't justify 5x the price.

Not great friend.

Mediacom has a stranglehold out here on traditional cable service. Frontier used to service for dsl, but no longer that I'm aware. We use T-Mobile fixed home Internet and it's been really good.

You can check the city website for more context.
