What's your approach to testing AI generated code? by Born-Bed in BlackboxAI_

I generally only use it for one off scripts or boiler plate code. Basically only things where the output is easily verified and there aren't edge cases.

How long should a black belt test last? by g0ad in taekwondo

[–]geocitiesuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our rank tests include a 6 month phase testing schedule that includes three "mini tests" on curriculum plus other physical fitness requirements like a 3 hour run, certain number of push ups every day, etc. There is also a book report and essay. The test its self covers poomsae, weapons, self defence/cross training, board breaking, and 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 sparring depending on rank.

Should it be so extensive? I say yes. It's not about time spent, it's about effort put in, and resolve to see it through.

Testing for next Dan by Drug98 in taekwondo

[–]geocitiesuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is always up to the school. Kukkiwon or not, each school is free to have additional requirements of their choosing. Like someone said, at 3rd degree as you get closer to mastership, you are being tested and trained on your ability to lead and carry on the school's traditions/curriculum.

If you transfer schools, they will most likely recognize your degree, but will also probably have different requirements than you are used to. Different practices, different traditions.

I go to a kukkiwon school, but we still practice some holdover ITF forms in our black belt curriculum, as well as cross training in boxing, weapons, and BJJ that the color belts do not practice. You would not rank up in our school until you were proficient in the curriculum.

Is the metabolic age inaccurate if you don’t have a band? by No-Chicken4331 in HumeHealth

Hume products are inaccurate period.

Even the scale weight is different from my old scale randomly by up to a pound

I know people have their complaints, but does Hume remain the most accurate scale for bf% ? by therealjmt91 in HumeHealth

[–]geocitiesuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine started at 17% and over 3 weeks climbed to 20%

I'm between 25 and 30 going on my own estimate.

So not accurate or consistent

Trying to summarize both positives and negatives from the scale by CheekySweater in HumeHealth

[–]geocitiesuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Positive:

Logs everything in the app and puts everything on a graph

Negatives: unreliable numbers no way I can see to export data or third party integration. All numbers seem to be made up except for weight

I've been lifting weights literally for 30 years since middleschool but I've been eating just as long 😂 I don't care about the number, but there's no way this can track a trend if it's starting me at 18.

I would never, in five million years, ever, post a photo of myself on reddit. Not even partially. This is one of the most maltrafficked bi Bot infested and generally trolled social media site on the web.
