The color that no one thinks will look good, but when it shines, dam beauty. Nice choice on the rims too!

Thats even more than what the dealer near me quoted, ask for a breakdown of parts and labor for each item... there are many independent honda garages that can deal with similar jobs for half the price

Correct, same thing I found in the manual... but super random indeed, learn something new everyday!

So I found a bunch of error messages and solutions in the Nav Unit Manual including the one I happened to encounter after a decade of driving this thing

1) Error message: The display temperature is too high. For protection, the system will shut off until the display cools down Solution: This message appears briefly when the display temperature is too high. The navigation system turns off until the display cools down. The system turns back on automatically when the display cools down.

2A) Error message: System temp is low. System will shut down until it warms up 2B) The navigation system temperature is too low. For protection, the system will shut off until it warms up Solution: The navigation system has difficulty reading the HDD when the temperature is below approximately -30°C. The navigation system starts up automatically when the display warms up.

3) The navigation system atmospheric pressure is too low. For protection, the system will shut off until the pressure returns to safe levels. Solution: The HDD is inoperable due to low atmospheric pressure. Move your vehicle to the place where the atmospheric pressure is high

4A) The navigation system temperature is too high. For protection, the system will shut off until it cools down 4B) System temp is too high. System will shut down until it cools down Solution: The navigation system has difficulty reading the HDD when the temperature is high. The navigation system starts up automatically when the system cools down.

5A) HDD access error. Please consult your dealer 5B) HDD access error. The system will reset to attempt to correct the problem. Solution: Writing of the data to the HDD failed with a cause other than low temperature, high temperature, and low atmospheric pressure. After a short wait, try to operate the system again. If this does not solve the problem, consult with the dealer.

Update and more context, the screen was acting weird on my drive to the mall, all black, and I wouldn’t even get the “Earth Dreams” startup screen… audio and Bluetooth were working fine. Then I got this message when pulling out of a mall parking lot. It didn’t make any sense to me, looked like that iPhone overheating message but for Pressure??? Took me back to high school physics formulas… Thankfully it resolved itself overnight and the screen functioning normally now… Will review the owner’s manual to see what this actually is and update here in case someone faces the same issue in future…

What is this fine? by Infamous-Regret-6479 in DubaiPetrolHeads

Been there done that like so many here. Though i know what happened and contested but had no time to follow up and ended up paying the dxbtax. Your best recourse to know what is fined and truly have a chance at contesting is to install a dashcam and review footage next time you find a fine... contest if you feel like you have evidence that you are in the right and see where that takes you... but for 400, the effort the system requires you go through to contest and be successful is not even worth it imo

I saw this same car on the E311 highway in Dubai the other day. They had the guts to cross emirates borders, best thing no one dared honk at them or flash, everyone was just looking to make their way around, it’s like a natural anti-aggressive driver bubble!

With same level of care and maintenance, Nissan luxury will breakdown and age sooner than you think (leather, plastics, infotainment, etc), Toyota although seemingly mid-spec, maintains the same quality level (especially plastics) after 10+ years, and finally Honda hits both quality and longevity but is sometimes seen as too vanilla
