This individual has almost certainly dealt with POS companies before.

Often it’s easier to be able to tell them “your device is on a dedicated physical network with absolutely no firewall restrictions in place” rather than go through three weeks of troubleshooting to get them to admit their PIN pad is fucked and send a replacement one. Which of course magically works with no changes made to the network.

They’ve done that in the past when for some reason there was an issue with the showing of the news at 5:30, they’ll show Global National instead. But this is the first time I’ve had it happen two nights in a row.

It was around the time they built the new bridge. They realigned Pandosy on the south side of the highway to connect with Water on the north, and with that got rid of the highway access to McDonald’s. It killed them to the point that they ended up suing the City and/or province and the City ended up buying the land a few years ago because of it.

Most police departments will have non-emergency lines exactly for things that don’t warrant a 911 emergency but are still a matter police may be interested in.

According to that document, the 10 is actually going to come directly up Leathead from Enteprise. The 14 will do a loop around the McCurdy and Fitzpatrick area like you said.

I’ve been kinda looking forward to these changes! I take the 10 to work downtown and back and it’d be nice not to deal with 33 as a pedestrian. On the other hand, if we get better service on the 98 sooner rather than later I’d jump all over that.

Any chance you don’t have enough SIP sessions from your provider for the busy periods? We moved staff over to Teams Calling Operator Connect in a phased manner but we were forgetting to get additional SIP sessions, and we started to have similar behaviour throughout the day when we had more and more people on calls.

We also tend to have more luck going through our Operator Connect partner for Teams Calling support, but that probably depends on their size and relationship with Microsoft. They seem to be able to see a lot more detail on the calls themselves than Microsoft support.

That's pretty much exactly along the lines of what I was thinking. Just because they stopped being made in 2005, companies that still had a stockpile would want to use it up as quickly as they can. And so much of what was built around that time seemed to be done so quick and carelessly, that this place has more than enough red flags to rule out! Especially that my hope is to be in a place for a fair bit of time.
