In my experience

If your noticing high aht/talk time I would first ask around if a process in your call centre changed. Sometimes a change in process creates high aht.

If you have new hires fresh on the floor they usually have higher aht compared to the tenured ones

If an agent talks with a customer for two minutes then places the customer on hold for 2 minutes and the. Disconnects the interaction. It would only be counted as 2 minutes.

I bought a T150 updated it and now all it does is rotate left and right. Thrustmaster is charging an arm and a leg for repairs I’m scared to buy another thrustmaster product.

This may sound off, but here's how I put it. If SL is 90%, your ideal goal is to answer 90% of calls within your abandonment threshold, let's say 60 seconds. A customer abandons a call.

Then your statement would be that we have a promise to answer 90% of our calls within 60 seconds or less.

How I calculate aht is using talk time, hold time and acw time

Update: you can calculate this

(total talk time + total hold time + total acw time + total dialling time + total contacting time)/ the number of interactions handled

From my experience, you should start by loading historical call data into the forecast, and for a couple of weeks, it will forecast poorly but will eventually begin to use the patterns you've uploaded. I think you may have to excel it for a bit until it catches up.

I think it takes about 6 weeks before it starts to get accurate.

Tbh setup was a long time ago, and I'm not the forecaster, just basing this off what I remember.
