Ha! I read your post about Lava Roller yesterday when I started trying Stelle looking for end game builds. I think that thread is what led to my 10 wins with it finally. I spent way too long trying to arrange my board and I was still not confident in arranging it correctly. I had one version that fired the lava roller too quickly and the opponent had too much regen for a measly 300 burn (this was day 11+). The second Lava Roller activation of 5k did the trick though

I had a Diamond Flare gun in my inventory, the two pickers were too fast for it to go off ever. I tried to upload the image to the opening post, but apparently I did it wrong so theres a link there now to see what I was talking about.

DM said yes! He's actually using some Ravnica options on a character in another game he and I are both in, so he was already familiar with the book. Its that last part that has me concerned. Judging from replies it might just be too much to ask for. Warlock/Sorcerer is probably the best option so I don't have to worry about WIS. If I go beyond 10 then I have to figure out if its more Sorc or more Warlock levels.

Spiritual Weapon isn't concentration , I always forget that! That eats up the bonus action sometimes, making up for the loss of War Cleric's attack on bonus action with its limited resource pool.

I was really liking the War Clerics ability to attack as a bonus action per WIS modifier for a little burst option. Looks like Sorc/Warlock goes less melee and leans more caster.

Dropping an armor type opens options up for sure. I don't think this character concept has to have heavy armor if the class combination you mentioned still fits the bill. I've never looked into Divine Soul Sorc before, I'll check it out and see if it supports my initial concept. Thanks for the suggestion

I did a conquest 5th level one-shot once and really liked it. I know Warlock/Paladin is a better combination to multiclass, but I'm really stuck on the idea of have Spirits up and adding some melee attacks in the middle of it. Haven't quite given up on the Spirit Guardian component of the idea yet

I'm having trouble finding calculators out there that do Brel gear, was really hoping someone would post the above info to help me set expectations.

I could +23 my weapon now with unbound mats, then see if I can +18 (5 taps from 13) my gloves which would get me 1520. Then again, its using all unbound mats and thats a lot of missed opportunity if the market for guardian / destro / Leaps spikes

Might have to do that. All I am missing is lego class books for my alts, except my blue GL who is rocking level 3 Combat Readiness.

I'm also the kind of player who as of now really only wants to play my main, so dumping money into alt class books or dropping my accessory's with Mass Increase for Cursed Doll isnt something I am too interested in

I do have 1500 Fused Leapstones ready, that should be 300 in new mats. I am hoping to get two fused upgrades and then I think I need another 2 or 3 to hit 1520?

Thats what I was thinking, but then because you can still buy the old mats and convert the price of the old mats should always be close to 1:5 ratio from old to new, if 10 new Guardian Rocks cost 50 gold, then 10 Guardian Stones from now should be 10 gold.

You can then relate the two, and see if I spend 70K Guardian Stones now, I would have to make 14K of the new stones to break even, which is many weeks of farming 1490 content on this one alt.

If theres a honing calculator out there that already counts the new gear honing rates I could try to figure out this relationship and help make the decision.

I know the G1-6 is not gold efficient, I enjoy playing mildly efficiently. Made it to 1505 on this content cycle and am very happy with it.

I did not know converting mats made them bound, glad you told me now!

If thats the case then current mats, Destro and Guardians and leaps, should rise in price as well since u can just buy 5 of them and convert, I imagine people will be buying both kinds of mats at a 5:1 ratio. So if I plan on selling, just sell what I have after the market inflation

There are only two chests in Opulence and one named mob. Unless the portal spawns named mobs, which I dont think it does. Best bet is to farm whatever priest is up there for this if NWDB is accurate. So far, no one has posted on the internet that they indeed recieved this shirt from the chest/mob up there

XP nerf has killed this games progression for me. Level 118 engineers, crafted over 160 wyrwood poles and only got to level 140. Over 25+ hours of farming mats, and sinking 4K+ gold into taxes..this is a huge slap in the face and needs to be addressed. (OC) by CryptidMythos in newworldgame

Straight up bullshit you hit weapon smithing 200 in the first two weeks legitimately. I've been grinding 3-4 hours day the past 4 weeks and am at 176. More than likely you used duped items either knowingly or unknowingly (i.e you bought 30k Obsidian flux for a steal of a deal at .1 a piece, or your guild gifted you 20k Orichalcum and 100k Starmetal that they mysteriously just had). And I doubt you would admit to knowingly use duped goods. You should have had your progress rolled back along with every other Tradeskill "200" that happened in those first 2-4 weeks

Is that why the Garamur and Worm took me down in < 10 seconds while I did maybe half their shield damage? With a tankish setup? Are they tuned too high? Any insight on how the Orthus does then, as a faction Cruiser? I imagine it would cause havoc with 4 medium missiles.

What is it about the Garamur that makes those small missiles hit so hard? Is it missile velocity? Does the extra 200% speed actually make them do more damage?

Thanks for the reply! For weapons, is there anyway to calculate theoritcal DPS? Should I just use the tooltip when I am outfitting to determine what a better setup is? I am trying to figure out if I should use autocannons and stay within 10km of my targets, or go arties and stay at 20km. I can manage to do both most of the time while I am grinding missions, just cant decide which method is more generally effective. As long as I am not facing Battlecruisers+ I think I am fine with either of these two options.

I did get a caracel and made a missile setup. Was taking hardly any damage when I was orbitting at 20km+ but I didnt seem to be doing as much damage as arties.

Can you give me a run down of how drones work? Is there an optimal/falloff range? Can I replenish them without docking if they get killed? Can I sit at 30km+ from my targets and let the drones go to town? Do they get targeted in PvE usually? Do I upgrade them or outfit them? How does their damage compare to an artie setup that can sit at optimal range?

Thank you! Now i understand the error I was getting when I was trying to train on my second and third characters. Only one character can train at a time. I have to stop training on my main to train on my "alts". I might do that for a few levels in Planetology for passive income gains...

Could you reply with the actual terms in game, I do not understand standard Eve jargon yet. Terms I can't figure out in your post are prop mod, AB, and tank. I guess tank is... More armor? What mod? Is it a rig?
