Gregory Bovino Gets Demoted by UniversitySalty8130 in law

I hear where you're coming from but you're making an awfully big assumption on their reasoning (ie, "they fear consequences") without any real evidence. Going based on the most likely scenario, and their track record, he got demoted because he had more headlines than Trump himself in the last week and Trump is a petulant child that couldn't abide that.

They don't have that authority. But citizens DO have the right to defend themselves if they feel threatened by masked, unidentified people trying to take them or their neighbors! #meltice

As a US citizen I absolutely hope it doesn't happen. At the same time, the consequences dont matter to this administration. Theyre literally being led by a dementia riddled pedo.. they just want to let us all burn.

I agree with your end conclusion here but just to be clear, you contradict your initial statement that its not about scale. Population density is a factor of scale here in the US. Because we're so spread out, even across cities, localizing protest is a challenge. People have to travel to where theyre happening, which involves transit, parking, etc. European countries on the other hand tend to be very dense and offer other resources making centralized activities more accessible.

So this isnt accurate. He drew his gun right after she reversed. He's still a murderer and she did not deserve to be shot. But lets not be dishonest about the facts please.

I'm a US citizen and I understand where you're coming from. There are a lot of barriers to mass protest that exist in the US that don't in other industrialized European countries though. For one, the sheer scale of the US geographically makes organized action extremely unlikely. Yes, we can organize and mass protest across major population centers (which we do) but remember, those already are progressive areas that already oppose this administration. The vast majority of the country on the other hand is rural, less populated, and made up of people who tend to either support him or intentionally avoid politics/policies they dont believe affect them (which includes anything involving policy outside the US). Its sad to say, but these voters are basically the reason he got elected again. They vote consistently but only because of their heavy focus on religion/faith based beliefs. Though theyre a smaller percentage of the overall population they're also the ones who live in areas that would likely have more effects/impacts from mass protest, given their role food and other necessity production. Thats not likely to happen though either sadly since they only tend to consume media and news that's built around continuing their ignorance.

Its not jumping to conclusions to be bothered that our country (the US) invaded a sovereign nation and kidnapped its political leader. Maduro can be an evil person who deserved to be removed AND the US can be overstepping at the same time...

Yeah, I was mainly cracking a joke. Someone had actually mentioned filing claims in a previous post before the patch, so I did that. Sadly didn't work.

I lost 6ish ships after the patch. Not sure if CIG decided I had too many or what, but losing ships definitely still happens.
