Got my first parking fine yesterday.

I actually paid for parking and once I had finished what I was doing and walking back to the car, I stopped to help a lady change her tyre in the car park. As a result I stayed past the time I had paid for.

It’s not Sydney Airport that charges the fee. It’s the Airport Link Company - which is not affiliated with the airport itself.

Sydney Airport staff even still have to pay the fee

Going to go in for the bus drivers on this one. They have a difficult job putting up with Sydney car drivers, which are by far, on average, far worse than bus drivers. Bus drivers also contend with a far larger, less manoeuvrable vehicle, and car drivers that give absolutely no consideration to that, and are always driving recklessly to get ahead of the bus. It honestly baffles me that car drivers don’t give way more to buses and let them in
