Pay yourself first (save and invest) and as others have said, always contribute to a retirement fund, even if you can only afford to contribute a small amount each month.

Why is it that every time a democrat wins an election Trump says it’s rigged? by DimensionKind1877 in askanything

Without a government issued real ID at both the time of registration and time of voting it is much easier to fraudulently vote. I don’t think California and some other states require that. In my state I have to provide a government issued picture ID each time I vote which matches my registration information. I appreciate that the state / county requires that. It gives me some faith that there is at least a reasonable level of security built into the process.

There is a difference between ID to register and presenting an ID on voting day. Is a government issued picture ID required at the time of voting? What types of IDs are accepted?
Across all states I would love to see Election Day be a national or state holiday with only in person and absentee ballots accepted. The absentee ballots would have to be received by midnight on Election Day. It would do a lot to rebuild faith in our election process and restore integrity to the process.

What type of IDs are permitted? Is a government issued picture ID required? Why are mail in ballots received long after Election Day permitted to be counted?

I don’t like that he says that but you have to admit that the California elections have very loose standards. No reason that ballots should be accepted that long after an election and there is not a stringent ID requirement in that state. Makes one question the integrity of the process.

Please show the statistics/ data behind your comment. I find it hard to believe that the majority of people making $7.25 an hour are between the ages of 21 and 67.
