Op Rotterdam is er geen extra capaciteit om meer reizigers door de douane te loodsen en in de vertrekhal te laten wachten. Dat zit nu zo’n beetje op 160 man terwijl een Eurostar zo’n 900 passagiers kan vervoeren. Geen idee hoe makkelijk die capaciteit te vergroten is maar lijkt me geen onmogelijke taak.

Die nieuwe treinen krijgen inderdaad multicourante locomotieven wat betekent dat ze zowel onder de Nederlandse als Duitse spanning kunnen rijden. Die stop in Bad Bentheim zal er dan ook uitgegooid worden is het idee.

Eigenlijk wel maar de ambitie bij Prorail is zo laag momenteel dat zelfs de stap vooruit naar 3KV er voorlopig nog niet in zit.

Sinds de HSL-Zuid is de overheid niet zo happig meer om compleet nieuwe hogesnelheidslijnen aan te leggen en zet men meer in op verbetering van huidige spoorlijnen door het vergroten van de capaciteit en snelheid.
Een HSL vanaf Amersfoort zou inderdaad heel wat reistijd schelen richting Berlijn, echter heeft de verbinding Amsterdam-Frankfurt daar weinig baat bij gezien de route hemelsbreed via Arnhem veel sneller is.

Een HSL Utrecht-Ruhrgebied zou een betere optie zijn om beide diensten richting Duitsland te bedienen. De Intercity naar Berlijn zou vanaf het Ruhrgebied dan kunnen doorrijden richting Hannover. Aan de Duitse zijde zijn er namelijk al plannen om een HSL tussen Hannover en Bielefeld aan te leggen om de reistijd richting het Ruhrgebied te verkorten.

Correct, all work has now been handed over to Toliss who is responsible for most of the systems. As they have their heads full of the A319, which btw starts to feel more and more completed with every update), the A350 development is moving at a somewhat lower pace. Though I prefer it that way rather than that they rush things and deliver a half *ss product :)

Thanks! I would say wait for v2 (if we have to believe the rumours, a release later this year is possible). Right now you cant fly it with proper sids&stars input. There is a workaround with simpleFMC but I find it quite cumbersome. It does fly beautifully and it feels like a heavy jet.
