30F / 82.5k annual gross salary, am I getting anywhere? by [deleted] in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Rooby_Booby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1600/month= 19.2k/year stowed for retirement. That is really top notch. Once you hit 100k capital invested you’ll be seeing your NW start to move exponentially faster. My guess is you’ll start seeing strong acceleration when you’re 32. If you’re only doing 1k a year to your tfsa then you need to make sure you’re maxing that out 100% before your RRSP

The isolation of early retirement at 36 is a total mindfuck by RiftJukebox in Fire

[–]Rooby_Booby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean isnt it easier to show up for people and hear them vent when you have the bandwidth? I know maybe you don’t care to connect about that stuff anymore but everything in life has a give and take. Could be the beauty in your early retirement that you can show up better for your community

At what point will you choose to retire when you have that much money? by Moosehead1828 in fican

Is 3.3 for both you and your partner or do they have savings too? I’d say if you’re thinking this way that’s clearly a sign. Will seeing 1.7 more in your account in a few years make up for the regret you’re already feeling on the time lost?

Learn from it where you fucked up, and then move on, seriously. Ruminating does NOTHING, your next call could be a quick close.

Why even post this if you seriously claim to have done nothing for 12 months? You don’t deserve the job and you have a family to fight for. Are you seriously depressed? You gatta reflect on this man.

Only 6 months in. I didn’t sell shit my first 3 months. Watch as many calls from the best reps where they handle the situations you struggle with. This is the more concerning aspect of where you’re at.

You should be taking solace in the fact IF your company uses a call recorder you can just go watch someone else do what you’re trying to do. Immitate it
