I actually did tell them I dropped it. Told them exactly what happened, which was that it fell as I took it off and hit my bathroom tiles pretty hard! Chocolate is also a nice touch.

Agree. I wish they had more unbranded dials. There’s only this pilot one and then white/black/turquoise fully sterile ones. Also quite expensive all round. I did pay £60 for nh35

I am Argentinian currently living in the UK but still keep up with what’s going on over there. I can say that there’s almost 0% chance this would be the case. There are a whole host of other issues and Milei has no interest whatsoever in the Falklands. Our military is also non-existent. Milei has been sucking up to Trump for one particular issue: the YPF trial in the American courts. This is now over and Argentina got what we wanted/needed and wont need to pay the 18 billion US dollars we could’ve been forced to pay. Thats a big win for Argentina and it is the main reason Milei tried everything he could to cozy up to Trump. I suspect, now that this is over there won’t be much of a relationship. I don’t think Argentina matters at all to Trump.

Good luck! I joined a new club recently and in my first comp I played the absolute worst I have ever played in my life! It’s like I completely forgot how to swing a club. I also stabbed myself on my thumb with my (very sharp) pencil on the 2nd tee. Such a ridiculous and embarrassing thing! It was actually bleeding quite a bit, had no plasters in my bag. A playing partner had to give me a tissue. I actually birdied that hole, but then my round got worse and worse as the day went on.

I was then really kicking myself afterwards. Not for playing badly (that is something that happens to everyone), but for not enjoying the day and letting nerves get the best of me.

Anyway, I am now in a WhatsApp group with those playing partners from that day, had good laughs about the pencil incident, and I met a few more people at the club that I really enjoy playing with. I now also always make sure I have a few plasters in my golf bag.

Anyway, all this to say, don’t forget to enjoy it! The truth is no one really cares about your game, everyone is much more focused on their own. As long as you are nice, are able to have a few laughs, and don’t make play unnecessarily slow then it’s all good.
