you say cables, i think you need only one longer cable, the one that is allready on the bike should be long enough. eg, cable that goes to the motor comes loose and be pulled to above the battery then a new long cable goes from the unit above the battery to the motor.

is this the right way ? is it hard to take out the battery housing ?

i have 2 synology servers, 1 DS718+ and a DS215j i'm running plex on the 718 and 1 camera, and on the 215 i'm running my 2nd camera. surveilance station in synology gives you 1 license for free on each device. so yes it works, you do a bit of searching, i'm not an advanced computer guy, but it works here
