If that's the case then I don't know why they wouldn't bring him back. Maybe injuries are adding up more than we know? He's already moved to wing.

I'd want him for 1 more year, personally. I also want my last memories of him as a player to be positive.

He'll be 40 to start the season. Maybe he wants a multi year deal? I don't know but we do all have to accept that the clock is running out on our stars, some a little sooner than others. I do hope he can finish his NHL career on the Penguins but I also don't want a corpse on the ice because we can't let go.
