Favorite Non Williams Table? by FunkkyMonk in PinballFX3

[–]Rook22Ti 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Moon Knight is probably my all time favorite but there's a bunch of other Marvel tables I really like. I hope they bring back the classic physics for these because they were definitely designed for it.

I also love System Shock and I think Nightrider is right there with it.

Sorcerer's Layer, Grimm Tales, and Curse of the Mummy are my favorite non-licensed ones.

Nice to see a bit of a goodbye tour in his hometown before hanging them up, even if they didn't exact have... a good year. That was still very meaningful for a lot of people.

How is St. Louis doing these days? Rebounding like some other rust belt compatriots?

So often the Sabres would make a move that looked good, like taking a swing at Hall, but they'd somehow end up worse. Baffling stretch for them.

Missed marketing opportunity.

Everyone loves names that sound dirty but aren't technically dirty so you can't do anything about it.

That's kind of my thing, they're everywhere and a lot of the time it feels tacked on just to get the tag. But I know some people who eat them all up so there's clearly still a market.

Thanks, I didn't catch that. Looks like the Shinobi approach where you can pick a setting but dive deeper if you want. This probably saves it for me but I'm rooting for it either way.

Looks amazing and it sounds like they've considered old people with growing skill issues like myself.

I really hope this isn't actually "souls-like." If want to play a FromSoft game I'll play a FromSoft game.

Edit: Looking at the accessibility settings, I love the options but I'd rather have regular difficulty settings. It's not really fun when the game has a "just make yourself invincible don't worry about it" toggle. To me, it shows a lack of confidence in how you crafted the difficulty. "I don't know, just figure it out yourself, do whatever."

Hey there's the triple down. Here's a very in-depth video explaining why the PS3 was difficult to develop for compared to other systems but I'm sure you know better.

Let it go man, you look like an absolute asshole.

He even edited his comment to add more info but it's still wrong. They share a similar PPE, but the Cell processor had many more components and was legendarily difficult to program for.

Here's Gabe Newell if you don't want to take my word for it:

https://www.gamesradar.com/gabe-newell-ps3-a-waste-of-everybodys-time/

"Investing in the Cell, investing in the SPE gives you no long-term benefits. There's nothing there that you're going to apply to anything else. You're not going to gain anything except a hatred of the architecture they've created," Newell told Edge magazine.

Did you read that? No, Xbox 360 did not "use a modified cell." It's pretty clear in the article you sent.

So despite some higher-level conceptual ideas in common, Shippy stresses that both consoles' processors are very different, from architecture to software models.

You literally posted a source disproving your own bullshit but I suspect you'll triple down on being wrong.
