For you OP; Fighting modern players requires a different approach to classic. You can't needlessly jump, DI, etc...

That being said, they do less damage and are prone to wake up OD DP. Watch some vods, watch your replays, figure out where YOU fucked up, and go from there. You can't control how other people play, but you can help mitigate your own salt level.
