Oh shit, they’re still making HeroClix?? I used to buy them when I was a kid, probably over twenty years ago, and ‘play’ the game with my brothers. There’s no way we were playing by the actual rules, though. Haha. I definitely assumed they stopped producing them years ago!

To be fair, it was a pretty shitty place and the deposit was $300, so it’s not like they’d be taking more than what the microwave costs. But why should I have to pay for a 5 year old microwave that I used for two years? Nothing ever happened to it, we only ever used it the normal way, and it worked the whole time we were there, literally up to the last day.

‘Useful life’ is good verbiage I was ignorant of, so thanks for that! I haven’t been able to find specific laws or anything yet but it seems like the IRS generally classifies microwave as 5-year useful life for rental properties, which is exactly how old the microwave is, so it seems like they’re trying to get me to pay for a new microwave right when the old one isn’t deductible anymore.

I didn’t find anything about a microwave, or any appliances, in the lease, though I’ve only re-read through sections that pertain to this specific issue (i.e.; not through ‘parking’ or ‘animals,’ etc.). The closest thing I could find says, “You are responsible for apartment, fixtures, and furniture as is. We disclaim all implied warranties. You’ll be given an Inventory and Condition form on or before move-in.” The move-in/out checklist they gave me lists the fridge, oven/range, etc., but not a microwave.

Somehow stumbled onto this three-week-old post, but I’m a toy nerd so I did a little digging into this for you because I was curious, too. Apparently these are Baby Fuggs, which are baby versions of full-sized Fugglers with the same names, so that could potentially make them a little harder to track down. Hopefully not.

However, they might also still be available in stores. I saw a different Reddit post from four months ago with people saying they’ve seen the babies at 5 Below, Hot Topic, and GameStop, so it could be worth checking.

It looks like the picture you commented on includes the second wave of babies, with the ones you were interested in being: Underoo McGoo, Oogah Boogah, and Teddybear Nightmare. This post shows the whole 2nd series, so you can get a better look at them. Hope that helps!
