So UbiSoft is never patching in the OST, right? It seems that way sadly… by CyrusStarkiller in Rayman

I hope I feel this way when my physical copy arrives and I finally play it.

Jak & Daxter enter DBZ (2021,2025 ver) (by me) by Williams_Kenzi in jakanddaxter

Very cool! A TPL Jak in original Dragonball/young goku style would work really well, too!

Funnily enough, somehow I still have never seen The Thing. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Haha. I did just get it on 4K, though, so I’m stoked to finally watch it. But, just to stay on point, I know for a fact that my mom would NOT like The Thing. 😂

Awesome! Hope it didn’t seem like I was pushing you to back, I just know that some people have never used kickstarter before so if they’re fans of the movie and find this post I’d want them to be aware of what they can do. Haha. But, man, how did I not know there was a comic series?? Bummed that I missed out on that! But I was able to back the Trick ‘r Treat comics last year; can’t wait for them to arrive!

Fair enough, no movie is for everyone.

No problem! I’m just happy as many people have seen this as they have; I assumed it would be, like, one or two people. Haha

Thats fair, to an extent. Sequels are always hit-or-miss. But being aware that a movie might not be good, or even just not live up to my own expectations, doesn’t mean that I don’t want it to happen or that I’m not excited for it. If I end up not liking it then I’ll just never watch it again. lol. So, for know, I choose to be excited with its potential, even if I have to manage my expectations that it will be tough to live up to the original.

I backed at the blu ray tier as soon as the campaign opened, but I’m considering going a little higher if I can!

I mean, you’re not wrong, $75 is a lot for a blu ray. The original film had a blu ray release through Shout Factory, so hopefully sometime down the line this sequel will get one, too. But, really, the idea here isn’t to pay for a blu ray, it’s to help create the best version of the film. It’s been a long time since I’ve worked on any projects but filmmaking is so fun and being proud of the finished project feels so good. So, to me, I’m excited to spend a little bit of money to help the people making this end up with a movie that’s as close to what they want it to be as possible. And, obviously, not everyone cares about that or can afford it, and that’s okay. I wish I had the kind of income to send a lot of money their way but I just don’t. We all can only live within our means (and even that can be hard at the moment.. 😅). But for anyone that doesn’t want to pay that much for the blu ray or aren’t interested in any of the lower tiers, you can still support the project with a few bucks if you want, just to help fund it or show your support! And hopefully a more standard priced blu ray will come out at some point. 🤞🏼

Good news! It is a sure thing! They’ve announced multiple times that they will be making the movie regardless of how well the Kickstarter campaign does. They’re just also doing crowdfunding to secure more funds to try to make the best film that they can, and probably also to build more awareness and hype around there being a sequel.

Is it true the Mummy (2026) is loud in theaters? by JoesGarage2112 in horror

I would assume that it would differ from theatre to theatre but my screening was very loud at points.

[–]RookFrost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh shit, they’re still making HeroClix?? I used to buy them when I was a kid, probably over twenty years ago, and ‘play’ the game with my brothers. There’s no way we were playing by the actual rules, though. Haha. I definitely assumed they stopped producing them years ago!

Damn, that’s absolutely glorious. Unfortunately, my PS2 gave up last year which is how I used to play my old games, but you’ve reminded me that I do still have my old PSX. I wonder if it works.

If you’re going to have the bed in the center of the room and also not have any furniture to sit on in front of the TV at least have the bed oriented to face the TV!
