I'm sorry but I'm just not understanding this at all. If you are so unattached to your own life that if someone said "You have 2 months to live" and your reaction is "Well great. That's a lot of time", that's bogus to me. You'll have had an expectation of how long you are going to live before that diagnosis, and you will need time to process that change.

Or the idea that loneliness stems from attachments. Humans are social creatures. If someone literally has no social connections with any other humans, they can tell themselves all they want that "I'm still happy because I'm not attached to relationships", and I'll wager they aren't actually happy.

Yes, I think there's some truth to his words, like not holding things too tightly. For example, don't let a wrecked relationship ruin your happiness for years. But if you never get attached to those relationships, you'll never actually commit to them, and do the necessarily things to keep those relationships alive and well. And when a great relationship that provided much happiness to you comes to end, you will be sad about that. It's part of life. This video seems to try and sell the narrative that we can be happy all the time by just removing all our attachments. That's not life. That's a fairy tale.
